Well well. 80p has been hit.
Not many investors get to sell at the highest highs or buy at the lowest lows.. but I'm sticking to my prediction and that's all it is a prediction.. which is closer to happening than this SP hitting a £1 anytime soon..
The only fact here ..is your desperation to attack anyone for being remotely right. Or is it my imagination that we are closer to 80p than a pound...
Ugh I posted on 20th April it was 90.44 at time of my post...

RE: 10% off all time low20 Apr 2023 11:47
As long as interest rates are rising Vodafone will struggle. If interest rates start to fall that could be a catalyst for the SP to move higher. Earning and Divi to be announced soon. Divi looks under pressure Imo nothings guaranteed. Recent hike in mobile plans won't be reflected in this seasons earning. I personally think this could go to 80p before it hits a £1. Holding cash waiting on 80p DYOR
Has not hit a £1 since I posted my thoughts in this post...
Pretty dam close longterminvestor
How many men were there before Vodafones current CEO that went well right?.
I said this would hit 80p before hitting £1 in April.. I got slammed for suggesting this was possible. Yet here we are...
Vodacom profits up 16%
I believe Vodaphone own 65.1% in Vodacom
nicknaim
Added 229p and today 224p, if it goes under 218 I will add again, cant quite see what could be worst than a pandemic
Try a banking crisis have you forgotten 2008
Unlike you Nick2151 he hasn't sold out yet. why are you here, haven't you got a life yet. its is May the 4th after all Nick perhaps you should just LET GO!....
bitterness enjoy that Pill....
why would anyone chase the dividend and sell today.. it makes no sense as the SP has dropped further than what was to be gained from the dividend...
buying in over last week your at a loss...
buying in on banking scare low then, there's capitol gains as well as the dividend...
I have 2 pots of shares in LGEN one I hold the other I trade any excess shares I gain I add to pot 1 for the long term.
I bought in at 237 APR 6th hoping SP would increase 1 for dividend and 2 ISA top ups...
sold out yesterday before ex divi today made more than the dividend.
I have the cash waiting on side-line hoping for a lower entry point.
lunatic you think wrong...
why dont you do some basic research before posting I THINK lol its 13.9P

nothing is guaranteed to repeat as I've stated previously
wisdom comes to many but only stays with a few..
but my post explained my reasoning .. LOL
@Andyman
Why do I need to explain why I think or thought at the time of posting that 260p is possible by Wednesday if you read my post I we were at circa 254p on lasts years last trading day the SP increased by 5p 254 + 5p is not a million away from 260p.. now if I had stated 3.30p then your point would be valued, but stating someone needs to explain over a 8p difference is techy to say the least.
This was my post and the reason I believed 260 is possible. doesn't mean it will happen as I clearly stated
On the last day of trading last year on the eve of ex dividend day the SP increased by 5p
Apr 20, 2022 272.80p opening price 278.90p high 271.70p low 277.80p closing price 16,824,498
That's not dividend hunters dumping the share. Although there will be some that sell, if they bought in at a lower price recently and figure the capitol gains out strip the divi, as the share usually drops on Ex divi day. I think it closed 13.9p lower at the end of ex divi day last year. Nothing is guaranteed to repeat as I have stated previously. If the wider market has a Steller day on ex divi day..
Seems I'm a little late.. but sub 90p for me..
