@RED, if were kind enough to share that list of 41 stocks I would love to have a look at them. one way or another I suspect that after this year I won't be a SOLG investor anymore. If you prefer I can leave you my email and we can communicate bilaterally. Cheers, TI
Its Hubrishunter who used to post good stuff on here.
Nothing to do with HubrisWarrior who was the Slug impersonating...
HH is just some random on twitter JG...
HH has been saying news next week at least twice now. Why hang on to every word he says beats me.
great opportunity to average down and ignore the pointless chat on this page.
See you at the takeover party in Beijing
HH?
Having said he was increasing his position 25% yesterday, HH has just posted this:
"The news that is coming will be hugely positive. Read the filings..."
PerseusOrion deleted just before the weekend.
That should guarantee a disrupted couple of days.
And I bet we will see the return of you-know-who very soon.
So you think you should be free to pollute the atmosphere just to satisfy your vanity without being challenged?
That's not really likely to happen.
The arguing ramps up as the reality that we've wasted another week of our lives here kicks in.
This individual is not invested here, nor are their other 10 pseudo accounts...
Why would anyone with half a brain even listen to you pal
Slug, when you talk of thrills of driving large engined cars, have you actually tried electric or hybrid super cars that don't pollute as much?
Hybrid and electric cars are quicker. Surely that's where the thrill lies
Yes It is Crazy the only ones Benefiting from this climate madness is the Government as it gives them the excuse they need to raise Taxes.
Not asking you to accept anything, Slug- you've clearly had enough other people feeding you ideas. Just stfu about vaccines and climate- this isn't the place for those rants.
I enjoy your posts Red. The issue is that the board over the last 4-5 years have had a dreadful record and the resultant lack of trust and belief has shattered investor confidence and manifests itself in a dire SP. The new board are currently no doubt at a delicate stage/position but have done nothing to reassure us. True there have been some top class major investors, but the drifting SP is due to the Board's lack of openness to the rest of us.
My 20k invested into funds for my pension pot on the 1st of November seems to have given back 300 of the 700 pound gains in the last 5 days so I've made 2% in 3 and a bit months minus another percent in dividends need some of reds high yielding stocks as for SOLG my 20k feels like i got over excited last year with an average of around 20p and I can't and won't average down already playing above my limit and annoyed I crossed my normal limit but I would say that as I'm 5k down I do hope this isn't going to be another lesson to learn
Certainly massively oversold but why is the question. Is it Geo-politically based - no idea, but obviously the political situation/risks for opening large new mines n Equador could be a big factor in the SP weakness. Great assets, huge risks politically.
Wrong board again, slug. Can you find a different outlet for your ranting, please? Not sure why you feel the need to spread your message but you're every bit as annoying as a JW at the door with a copy of the watchtower. Only your pamphlet is written in crayon...
Apart from the blip down to 12.95 (bounced from there to 21 in 6 trading days), the 14 day RSI is now as low as its been since 9 May 2022 (bounced from 25 to 36 in just over a month)...
Massively oversold IMO.
Anyone else have any views?
I've got a list of 41 UK stocks I'm following for reinvestment when SOLG pays out...virtually all high yielders (6% plus) and all but one are in the red...extraordinary...
So SOLG not doing too bad considering...

But burning fossils fuels, for when that rarely doesn’t happen, is a good solution is it?
I’m not forcing anybody into climate change I am just putting the opposing point of view across and your argument that it is unaffordable doesn’t wash.
I think it’s obvious to everyone that if the wind is blowing it’s better to use that than burn a fossil fuel, for a whole variety of reasons.
I get that you like the sound of a V8 which is why Ferrari have just patented an electric battery system with sound effect to mimic ICE’s.
EV’s are nowhere near saturation, there has been a drop off in demand because the electric price is linked to gas prices, when that drops out of the equation sales will pick up again.
Do you really think authorities had time on their side, like they do with persuading drivers to change their habits, with Covid when lives were being lost?
The 2 situations are not similar in terms of urgency but you chose to support one argument to prove your point then chose the opposite to prove a different issue.
Volume much weaker after yesterday's 11m. With news expected soon on the merger completion - you might be seeing the ARB boys going for it in the hope they stretch out some and get some forced sellers. Remember they have 20mil of shorts in play I believe from around 17p/18p levels. Not much coin in it for them with price in the 16's hence the recent push down.
If they can deploy minor amount of selling to depress price then their goal is made much easier. Can't blame them for trying and SOLG's or Maxit's stretched out merge process handing it to them on a plate.
If they are ex CGP holders then they'll comfortably get their 20m shares at 16p so no brainer. Anything sub 16p where they can get some suckers or forced sellers is a bonus.
