Affirm. funny you should suddenly pop up here, it coincides with the fairies at the bottom of

but no matter, keep posting the positives, that's what we want to hear, it doesn't matter if there's nothing to
back them up. just keep posting it reassures us.
hopefully Jack, who like you has turned up out of the blue, will have even more positive news for us, after he speaks to Scotty boy.
thank God we've the likes of you both to pop up when we begin to doubt. it helps us to ignore the infesters
Next week Scott Caldwell will be presenting at COPPER MINING GIANTS with investors present.
I suspect the share price to rise in anticipation of a Funding RNS update or JV or Sale etc
Big updates imminently
@needalife
I might be new on this board but trust me I've been invested for many years. Sold out and re bought in a few times. I'm happy with my SolGold investment. I got in at a great price, for me im happy to wait, plus keep adding to my holding in the dips. It doesn't have to go that high for me to make quite a lot of money but I will assure you of this, there's plenty of positives for SolGold. So much still to come & once the market get wind of the news the SP will rocket.
I said before.... Cascabel.... What an asset to own As well AS OTHERS SolGold are involved with.
This SP is so undervalued. Re-rate will happen once the right / good news is announced ie funding/partner/JV/sale/permits etc
Sp in the doldrums,
Up pop jack and affim.
Amazing
Affim, 4 posts, but already the biggest cheer leader on the board.
Jack 12 posts, and already fixed up a phone call to Scotty boy.
If I was sceptical, I would wonder if they have multi allias
Keep it coming, that's what we all want to hear.
Done need any of that negative stuff.
Slug , unless we taken out before they buy the shovels , we will be forced down that route , then we will be taken out just like Sirius. That is my fear here now.

Technically it all but faded 14th March 8.13 from the 13th close of 8.09
Coincidentally low was 8.13 today too
That’s not a gap, it’s a hairline crack
Lindy 13th March?
0.04p is not a gap ffs
Sorry 1984Investor it was 13th March 😃😃
Afternoon Lindy, when was the gap and on what timeframe? Not disputing I just don’t see it
Dry in the north of England for the first time in weeks, hope you enjoyed the match last Friday as much as we did 😂
Afternoon all. Gap at 8.09p hopefully filled then back up. Have a lovely afternoon it’s gorgeous and sunny here in Bonny Scotland 🌞🌞

I mentioned all this the other month.
And , I still believe it will be the Chinese who seize the day .
Solg cascabel will be sold.
Good post Northern.
Hopefully bring some on here back to reality.
If we're not brought out it will be a disaster.
Us building the mine, or a jv, are both fraught with danger to our investment
Luckily it won’t be them building it. There’s more chance of Quady winning a personality competition
When will construction of the Cascabel mine and copper production begin? 'We hope that in mid-2026 or at the latest in early 2027....'
So with Solgolds track record.. construction will begin end of 2027- mid 2028
This will be the second large-scale underground mine. What makes it different from the Fruta del Norte mine? Fruta del Norte has an underground mine as well, but its main extracted material is gold. They have a different methodology in terms of extraction and processing. In the case of Cascabel, it is an underground mine whose main material is copper and that will be built using the block-caving methodology, which allows the material to be extracted through tunnels. Block-caving is particular for soil types with resources found about 500 to 600 meters below the surface. It is a very specialized methodology, few operations in Latin America have implemented it; It is common in the industry, but there are not many in the region. How will they transport the material to the port of Esmeraldas? Is the road structure in the area adequate for the gigantic trucks required in the industry? At the beginning of operation, transportation will be handled through special trucks with all the adjustments that need to be made to the roads. All this is contemplated in the initial USD 1,550 million investment already mentioned. And then a mineral pipeline will be incorporated to carry the copper concentrate.
It is an important investment and is contemplated for the second part of the operation. When will they build it and how much will it cost? This pipeline will take the material directly to the port of Esmeraldas, when the project is expanded to the second phase, in 2036. It is the most sustainable and although it takes a little longer and is more complex, it is contemplated in the project and will allow material to be exported more efficiently without major impact on the roads. They are 150 kilometers away, we already have conversations with groups that have made these types of mineral pipelines in Chile, Argentina and Peru.
The estimated cost could be around USD 150 million. In the midst of the energy crisis, mining's electricity consumption has been questioned. How will they face this challenge? We are very sensitive to the national problems related to the generation and supply of electrical energy. Since 2023 we have had conversations with builders and experts in hydroelectric solutions. And in March 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed to begin negotiations related to the construction of a hydroelectric and solar solution, close to the concession. These solutions could generate between 200 and 220 megawatts of clean energy. The investment of USD 4.2 billion does not contemplate the construction of these energy solutions, because that will be the responsibility of other companies, which would provide the service. Cascabel is a long-term project. When the mine begins operations, in 2030, it is estimated that it will require only 90 megawatts and when the expansion takes place in six more years, it will reach 180 megawatts of consumption requirement. It will be more than enough to supply ourselves and provide energy to the integrated system.

As we relentlessly head towards the 7p mark.
I would like to post another fdjyn blockbuster from 5 years ago, just to remind him of the sh""the he pumps
out whilst filtering others.
"And don’t forget that the financials seem to be improving all the time (as demonstrated in today’s RNS) So can only see the NPV increasing as we move towards the BFS which may result in fair value of £2 per share which of course doesn’t factor in if we had more than 1 major trying to buy us out! Who knows a bidding war for Solg in totality could take us to £2.50 or even £3 per share if we are very very lucky! Now wouldn’t that be nice :)"
wow 3 pound a share. keep pumping out sh""the we love it
Another cracker from you fdjyn, this one from 4 years ago, yes 4 years ago, telling us in a sale is imminent.
" Isn’t this a classic tell tale sign that corporate negotiations are taking place behind closed doors which in the case of Solg could be anyone of:-
1) Sale of Solg in its entirety
2) Cascabel / Alpala sale
3) Cascabel / Alpala JV
Given the amount of drilling we have completed since the last RNS something doesn’t quite feel right about the total lack of news which is starting to feel deafening! Maybe games are afoot and when we do finally get an RNS it will truely be a game changer for Solg and it’s shareholders? Pure speculation of course but with the recent events (AGM) it might explain why there is a total news blackout at present?"
keep pumping the sh""the out, filter the reallity, we love it
"Looking like fire works here next week guys !!!"
Probably a good idea if you winded your predictions in as they never ever come in.
Enjoy the TV.

I remain confident we'll have received some major news ahead of his trip.
I also see a sea of green as I am fed up also with those who engage with the morons and the trolls.
Why can't people stay on the subject and discuss the great potential of this company and invite the board to pull their finger out? Can their new PR guy get them to release some good quality information to attract new investors and reassure the existing ones?

Thank you HfH, great article.
Among other useful pieces of information, it goes to show why there is often a cognitive misalignment between what we hope and what it takes to make money out of a company like Solgold.
On balance, IMHO it's a great time to stay long and be patient.
I would top up at these levels if I wasn't already horribly long.

To quote Jane Austen - never a good thing - this is "A truth universally acknowledged" (apart from by 1984). The question is; when is the Board going to tell us who wants OUR copper?
The amount of copper required for wind turbines is massive.
Looks like this will be the first year that wind turbines overtake gas for electricity generation in the UK.
Just think of that on a global basis.

Pages 2, of posting for clowns. Find a 5 year old article, and post it as news.
Pages 5 of making a fool of yourself.

I skimmed some profit on a little pot , I trade .
I still have a very comfortable long position.
Follow the trend , it's great if you can gather some free shares.

Idiot.
Nobby signed 6 agreements last month in canada.
Idiot
Personally I think Scott has played a blinder, not only ensuring Hydro-Solar power, but also insisting payment in royalties meaning revenue goes directly to local communities.
All ready for finance to be announced, IPA to be signed and formally announced, land purchase options to be taken up and finally Environmental Agreement to be finalised, thus ensuring Cascabel is fully derisked.
All whilst all the major copper mines are over 100 years old, with grades diminishing and costs rising due to digging deeper and deeper. The top producer in the world from Chile now over $20bn in debt.
Soon the world will need a new major source, enter Ecuador and Cascabel.
Addicknt
You might be correct, that Solg are being used as blueprint for the future.
By going green !!
During 2023 Ecuador stopped issuing any permits.
All but one ?
An exception is SolGold’s (LON: SOLG) Cascabel copper-gold project, which last month was granted a 25-year license renewal.

"SolGold will construct hydroelectricity to boost Cascabel mining project
June 14, 2024 Published by: Milo Cuenca 0 Comments
On Monday, June 10, 2024, the Ministry of Energy and SolGold signed an exploitation contract for the Cascabel mining project, which will produce gold, silver and copper. SolGold announced an initial investment of 1,550 million dollars, highlighting the construction of a hydroelectric key for the project.
Luis Mario Sánchez, vice president of SolGold Ecuador, revealed that he hopes to start the construction of Cascabel between the beginning and the middle of 2026, once the environmental licenses are obtained. The production of minerals will begin in the middle of 2030, but a fundamental aspect of the project is the construction of a hydroelectric plant in Imbabura, which will provide self-sufficient energy.
The hidroelectric, with a capacity of 220 megawatts, will cover the 180 megawatts necessary for the mining operation. The construction of this plant is crucial and must be listed before the start of mine operations. SolGold has signed a preliminary agreement with the constructor Semaica, with an estimated investment of 500 million dollars for this work.
During the construction of the project, approximately 3,700 direct and indirect jobs will be created and 1,200 during operation. In addition to the hydroelectric plant, a processing plant will be constructed to convert the rock material into a concentrate of copper, gold and silver, which will initially be exported by land from the port of Esmeraldas.
The Ecuadorian State will receive approximately 6,700 million dollars in royalties and taxes during the next 28 years, including 1,600 million in royalties. SolGold will pay 75 million dollars in advance royalties from 2026. The reserves of the Cascabel project include 3.2 million tons of copper, 9.4 million ounces of gold and 28 million ounces of silver for the first 28 years."

DBW I agree with you in that big news is just around the corner, within the next 7 trading days. Think those selling at these low levels will realise they made a mistake but obviously just my opinion.
That's all we can do , is wait.
Skimming some cream along the way, trying to catch the dips while we wait.
10p seems to be the marker for sells, at the moment.
Someone is playing this a blinder, over the past few months.
30c for jam tomorrow.
Waiting is what we have to do... its a bottom drawer share until the day it isnt.. 6 weeks from now? more likely 6-18 months.
I was correct when I said we would end up getting a short term, can kicking, funding RNS.. Dont be overly surprised if we get another.
Good to see skint has been forced back to work.
