Cannot believe the dispute is taking so long to resolve.
I appreciate the DHSC HMG have no interest in an early resolution but NCYT should be pushing for evidence to be submitted by them or moving to have the case dismissed because no evidence has been produced.
It’s not like the situation could get much worse - 80% in 12 months.
Some effort to market worldwide and activity on mergers and acquisitions wouldn't hurt either.

I know China is essentially 2 years behind everyone else with their tough lockdown restrictions but the pictures on twitter of hospitals being overrun are shocking.
If there is another variant going round this will spread across the globe pretty quickly.
5 year chart now only just in the green. Chart that truly sums up a one trick pony. How did we all dupe ourselves so badly.

Battered down again. New 52w l this week?
I wonder if the BOD are even aware
Yes true, maybe my " Top Trump " was a little crass tbh,,ALL views and opiniins wellcome here,, the more the better tbh
Not a competition , everyone who holds will have an opinion and they will no doubt vary vastly. I just expressed my opinion which is one amongst many.
Well you have top Trumped everyone Kaeren
Furthermore buyback of shares and holding in treasury to reissue at a later date is useless if in the unlikely event the case was lost, their face value would be a penny , might as well burn the money , again imo. A straight share buyback would cause a temporary spike , cash reduced and back to square one without news. Appreciate many differing opinions on this , but longterm investment in something that generates cash is most beneficial to the growth of the company and the MCAP ...... and my long suffering bank balance.
Ha ha smashed it as always,,great response Kaeren as to be expected from you
Well I have very strong opinions on how the money should be used. I personally would take an extremely dim view if they used the funds for anything other then some serious M&A. If the mgt proceeded with anything other then M&A, then to me that is the trigger to sell my entire holding. The market abounds with opportunities and if the Novacyt board choose to diminish the cash by handing out dividends ( great for new holders , not LTH's sitting on huge losses ) then I will lose all faith in them. They have the opportunity to buy off the shelf , several cash generating ( or less if bigger) companies. Without doubt this would provide income in the event the DHSC dispute went against us ( I don't think it will )
Time for money where mouth is , if they believe they have an extremely strong case then prove money not ringfenced and spend some of it. I have said before here that Mandy confirmed money was not ringfenced to me , so as far as I am concerned I expect to see them spending some of it. I don't care what interest rate they have managed to obtain , our competitors are making deals left right and centre and we need to be proactive.
I am aware thanks to the fantastic research of some on here of numerous new business partners and deals being struck , but imo we need some M&A action to accelerate the growth of the company , as organic growth alone will fail to get the company anywhere close to their LTIP targets.
The cloak and dagger b/s needs to end and we need regular R&D updates and some bloody enthusiasm from the board. Most of what I read on linked in is senior mgt congratulating staff that have secured new jobs.
The fact that some holders thought the entire RUO assay portfolio has been scrapped is indicative of how poor their communication is.
I await some info , we know full year figures will be nothing to sing and dance about , what do they intend doing to grow Novacyt ?
We need detail , a plan that we can buy into.
Back to my Christmas wrapping.
Thanks as always Larry
I put that here again, thks to B2. It's not that old :
Transcript of YouTube Novacyt AGM Recording, august 2022, Question and Answer session only:
"Q3 The next question is about our current cash position (around £100 million) and whether we would buy-back shares or how we would utilise that cash.
James McCarthy answered
I think share buy back isn't ruled out, we also haven't declared the dividend for this year and in our annual accounts I think we should look at that in the wider capital structure of the company. We feel that the balance sheet gives us an opportunity to invest in the right areas of the business, we are being cautious about that. I think we'd like to make the right choices. We still feel we can create shareholder value by investing those funds, I think clearly if we got to a point that we felt that we could no longer do that we would look at the most economic way to return that cash to shareholders so that would be a dividend, or a capital reduction or share buyback that is something we would look at in the overall capital structure."
Grear reply thank you BH
Handy wouldn't agree with a buyback to canx but a buyback to hold in treasury, I'd be curious to see the outcome. When they finally start to grow again it would (I think) be a kick start to get the SP going. But what do I know apart from I do think there is a need for fresh directors who have done these kind of things before to replace the appointees from blue chips
Hi Mostin,,Whilst it was'nt my intention to " Entertain " PI100,,I do not beleive in censorship but that is my opinion,,i did allude to earlier i may get ' Some stick ' for a dialouge with the said recipient,,but i am also a in investor here from the early days and as with other stocks i am in do raise an eye brow to as some people will say to the ' Rampers ',,whilst i have done my own research on NCYT and i am in contact with other investors its also educating to see another POV ,be it i may not agree with that POV i will always view it as an alternative POV,,i did give 'My head a shake ' and i take your advice with sincerity and iam always careful of whose advice i take,I do not know if PI100 is invested at all ! and i do understand the anger aimed at him / her from poster's on here,,On reflectioni think this board is an assett to the company as there are some great posts on here from people i do admire and respect and some great research has been uncovered on here ( not that it make's a diffrece to SP ) but that's why i do pop in now an again,,until PI100 is rude or offensive to me if he or she wants to engage with me then so be it,,and i have had a few DM's on said subject,,then i will continue to listen put my tounge in cheek and raise a glass of Merlot to free speech
You’re the biggest rat on here PI101
No coincidence that top brass are deserting in their droves and the share price is on the floor.
Where are all those rampers now? I recall drb83 being one of the “£2.20 is crazy, re rate soon”etc. Where are they now? Absolute rats
I think they should just pay out the lot in dividends and then wait for the inevitable bankruptcy. Oh but they won’t because they know the dhsc has us over a barrel.
Handy why would you entertain a conversation with that weasel PI100 (aka PI101), it’s obvious to everyone here he’s not invested , give your head a shake
Do you think we should do a share buy back option with say £10 Mill to say to market ' We haven't gone away you know ' ?
As discussed, it is clearly being ringfenced to pay the dhsc. After that we will be the new odx
I don't think we are the new ODX yet !!,, lets see what appens with the £100 mill first eh
New investors? Why would anyone invest here? As we can see the big players are jumping off the sinking ship in their droves. They know the company is finished. It’s just us little people who find out late on when it’s all too late and our money has evaporated.
I said many times this is the new odx and it’s proving to be true.
PI100,,As much as i may disagree wirh your view on the current goings on i do see your posts as a relevant balance,,,Now i prob will get shall we say some ' stick ' for this line i am in no way advovating what you say is right i just feel if you are a shareholder you have the right to say it,,A ngative view should not be censored imo as wr cannot have a board that is all fluffy and Unicornd imo,,,But if there are new investors peeking in now and again what would they think !,,As i say i do like a balanced view on things and i do think ypu are a decent chap who like the rest of us think the BOD are an absolute shower,,What are your suggestions for boosting the said SP ?
