B2 perhaps they are all out the office on the final sales push:((
Kaeren thanks for that link.
Thanglan the last part made me laugh choose your care home now:))
Corporate & Investor Relations Manager Mandy Cowling has advised she is out of the office until 23.01.2023.
Antonio Argenio has posted on Linkedin that Novacyt will reopen on 03.01.2023.
Three weeks with investor relations un-attended is ridiculous.
Posting the above to James McCarthy or James Wakefield will likely end up in Mandy Cowlings in-box.
This is palpably, how much NCYT care about PI's.
Any staff reading this, please pass up the chain to whoever is in charge at present.
Que Magic Roundabout theme song, -- at least until the new CEO appears,
- what do you mean it's McCarthy?
They’re not inept, Val, they are corrupt to the core. They know exactly what they are doing and it is robbing the country blind. Asset stripping the place.
@Poidster says - " I'm still at a bit of a loss about what novacyts marketing strategy is."?
There are many of us in NCYT feeling the same....WTF?
I'm currently £40k down here - but patient, not my money -
But the Grand-Kids might have something to say when their inheritance
is that much less than they're expecting...
Its amazing how delightful young kids can turn into such mercenary teens?
or they are just delaying paying, for as long as poss, by chucking 10's of thousands, at not paying 10 of millions?
this Gov is one of the most inept Iv seen in my lifetime and would put nothing past them, and is the first post you have issued in a while that I partially agree with?
#greedygov
What.... are you.... trying.... to say Gizmo?....?....?
Hi poidster hope you well virology journal primerdesign ltd........... Maybe buyers are wary.... Until contract dispute won....... Reputation..... With a very healthy balance.......... FREE... creates opportunity...global.. Development.........its frustrating to watch.... And do nothing. org
Biomed not Boomed
Poidster, the Boomed Mag covers all pathology disciplines and therefore is not focused on virology. Perhaps if the have a decent mailing of media addresses direct marketing to Virology Lab senior staff might be more effective. As I say perhaps, but if the marketing team are any good that might be their strategy.
TATA MD would have contacts within Chinese market , they could be our main distributors for China
People may laugh at that suggestion WBAFC but our biggest ever sale of instruments ( exclude DHSc) waa to China , don't know technically if they would work with Promate etc but wonder if they have pursuesd with who ever they sold them to. Mandy is on extended leave so no good asking her. Think it was 300. Maybe they use the tut they sold us on themselves too , no idea what Chinese regs or standards are adhered to in Chinese hospitals.
Novacyt could potentially sell its covid-19 products to China where the situation is critical. Why not sell to China , they sold their crap to UK so we can also strike a deal with them.

“So why are they targeting novacyt far more attention should be directed to new companies set up to profiteer from the pandemic.”
Because the new companies consisted of their mates and donors. They’ll go after the likes of us because they didn’t profit from our 2020 lotto win and they’re probably furious about that.
@WBA, no idea tbh, but there haven't been any adverts for Novacyt and or their distributors either.
I know they haven't been knocking on NHS lab doors trying to leverage the fact that their machines are already in lots of labs. Why ? Dunno beyond me tbh.
The marketing team don't strike me as a bunch of idiots tbh so, as I said, no idea what to make of it all.
Just wish they were more proactive, nothing, at all, seems to be happening.
There are opportunities out there for them, who knows maybe they are selling stuff but no RNS regarding any significant contracts.
They cannot just keep treading water waiting for the DHSC dispute to be resolved.
I worked on the NPfIT project several years ago. Fujitsu pulled out following contract disputes, the total contract value wasn't much short of £1 billion.
It dragged out for years before it was resolved in an out of court settlement.
So this dispute could take ages.
Compared to the disgrace that is MedPro and lots of others regarding PPE, going after novacyt is just bizarre.
Nova actually helped and their products were signed off and used.
So why are they targeting novacyt far more attention should be directed to new companies set up to profiteer from the pandemic.

Old but some relevance
Poidster could it be because Novacyt sell through their distributors and thats who they are really targeting and it should be the distributors that should be advertising on such magazines.
Probably why they award big pay hikes, is what I meant.
No, I said probably. Maybe.. who knows
I'm still at a bit of a loss about what novacyts marketing strategy is. After a bit of digging their marketing team aren't newbies and look well seasoned. I know I keep banging on about biomedical scientist mag, but there must be a reason they have chosen not to advertise in it, why I'm not quite sure but I know, they know about it.
So, I'm left a little confused, I've not got a marketing background per se and I don't know whats going on behind the scenes, tbh none of us do.
I still think they have missed opportunities in key markets but wtf do I know.
Let's see what the new year brings.
Wishing all legit holders a peaceful and happy Christmas and a prosperous New year (lol)
Take care everyone, its only money...
So PI100 are you saying the BOD deliberately mislead the PI by setting up LTIP that they cannot achieve ?
That post was dated 8th June 2020 - talk about getting wound up over nothing.
The LTIP was just a terrible attempt to appease shareholders. It is an absolute load of nonsense and probably why they award themselves massive pay hikes as they know they’re not achieving it. It may as well be ripped up.
Laughable.
Stopped reading at £1bn revenue. What an absolute load of nonsense.
Hmp ranby...... Intresting one of 3 prisons dismantling 12 million of covid tests.... Expired... dont think so.... Still at £4 a day per worker will not add too much to added costs of disposal....
The government will likely find out that buyer's remorse isn't a legal defense. Not surprised to see this today considering the news surrounding the NHS.
