CS , I think in human nature greed is a big motivation . I think the next 2 years LR will be building the company up and hopefully we land a few bolt on acquisitions and some meaty contracts . The SP could well be above £10 , or £20 by the time 2026 comes and he can sell some of his shares which would be worth millions of pounds. I would be curious to see if he or any BOD buy up some shares after the DHSC case is finished.
For every £1 on the share price , LR will pocket close to almost £1 Million . So £25 per share will generate him close to £25 Million . Therefore , it is a very massive motivation for him to make Novacyt the company very successful. I cannot see the BOD having any problems reaching their LTIP of £1.38 in 2026. This is a massive opportunity for LR , JM , and the CFO to become absolutely filthy rich , multimillionaires ! They will not have a better chance anywhere else. Wish I was in that privileged position !
Acquisitions is the only way this company is going to develop into a mid cap company . USA would be a good place to look for a decent company , and this is whee LR expertise comes in with acquisitions . £130M is a cash windfall to purchase 3-4 companies
I am amazed how much money these BOD can earn . As a medical guy , we have huge numbers of young GPs now unemployed and cannot find work because the government have replaced GPs with Advanced Nurse Practitioners / Paramedics / Physician Assistants / Pharmacists. As a result of unempolyment , huge numbers of GPs are moving to Australia / New Zealand.
Neilrich , my thinking is this , the precourt hearing is relating to the DHSC £135M claim which will be dismissed. Then we have Novacyt's counterclaim of £81.5M + interest. I feel this could go to court because Novacyt have strong grounds for full amounts and I don't think they will want to accept anything less.
I am anticipating DHSC will withdraw their dispute and agree to pay Novacyt the £81.5M + interest [~£10M ] .
With this cash , which would amount to a total of £130M+ , I would be eager to see how quickly they announce further acquisitions and what revenue that would bring. I am sure over the last 6 months they would have been searching for companies that they could buy and grow Novacyt. We have a CEO now that is very experienced in acquisitions. I cannot imagine LR has not got something lined up to acquire.
This RNS today and also the previous one should have been released in January 2024 , because it looks like they had already decided who the CEO / executive members would be and already allocated their LTIP. So the RNS today and the previous one are strategically scheduled. But , are they not legally obliged to release this information when they are taking December 2023 as base SP for LTIP.
It does make me sad with how us share holders are treated. We pay good money for these shares especially those who were buying in 2020 /2021/ 2022 and @ £3-£12/ share . The BOD have protected us share holders during these last 3 years. Now they reward themselves with 1 million free shares to CEO and CFO , CSO for reaching a low Base SP £1.38.
I paid a fortune for the shares I have . Yes these people will get it free.
I think they deliberately used the December 2023 SP for LTIP and they needed to get this sorted quickly so to make sure of a low SP base for LTIP . If they had waited till December 2024 , who knows what the SP could be then ? £5 , £10 , £15.....
But I am not happy with the fact they don't need to work hard to reach £1.38 .
I had to pay a incredible lot of money for my shares whereas LR will get close to 1 million shares for free
Kpa1 , my plan was really just to put £250K in Novacyt , which is what I did on 2nd October 2020 @ average of £7 . If i was smart and just knew that the DHSC would screw Novacyt i would have cashed out @ £11ish and made £400K -250K = £150K . Unfortunately, no one anticipated the RNS on 9th October 2021, and the SP crashed from £9 to £3.50 . It left me stuck at a high average like most people. Since then, I have been averaging down . That's my story.
