The original R&D staff of Primerdesign have left , and most moved to Youseq. Lyn Rees had put Joanne Mason in charge and all she did was dismantle Primerdesign R&D . I question , what did she actually do to bring in commercial success to Novacyt ?

If Lyn Rees had invested more R&D into Primerdesign and brought in better talent then you could say Novacyt can challenge for viral testing contracts . The fact is Youseq is now way ahead of Primerdesign because all the R&D staff and the founder of Primerdesign are there. The brains of viral testing are at Youseq. What you need is a device that can pick up several different viral types as in a Multiplex , in a few minutes and into a hand held or compact portible device . This is what will get big contracts.

Yes , but i didn't think they were still on the scene and also Primerdesign dont exactly make much revenue so didn't think Attogene we're still in business.

Wishiknew2020 , I think you invested in Novacyt in October 2020 and have kept your shares ever since then. I did exactly the same and its been nothing more than a total disaster . It was a scam by Graham Mullis for his LTIP of £10 million. There was no vision for Novacyt to develop into a big company . It was just all about getting his LTIP and leaving the company to defend itself.

Since December 2021 I have not invested into any shares at all but still keep all my novacyt shares which has an averaged of £5.81. Almost 5 years have gone by now and my investment of £660K has been trashed. Its all because I believed in Graham Mullis and what he told shareholders holders in October 2020 that Novacyt were going to be a mid cap company.

Des100 , £660K was invested during the period October 2020 to November 2021 . Basically , I had put £250K in October 2020 , then another £250K in December 2020 .... then i was trying to average down as the SP dropped like a knife. Total invested was £660K . That's how I have ended up with this total amount. I believed Graham Mulis simple has that. But he was a crook.

I dont want recommendations . I just want my money back that's all I want and I will be gone.

Basically , it was my first ever investment in AIM . I trusted Graham Mullis . He said Novacyt were aiming to be a mid cap company and with the big contracts from DHSC of potential £750 million it looked real. What i did not know, because I was new to this game , was that Graham Mullis lied to everyone. He hid the real truth behind the scenes, that there were problems with the DHSC contracts, and he did not come clean early . He made sure he got his £10 million LTIP and then ran. It left people like me completely losing their investment. I still find it hard to accept how I could have been tricked into putting so much money into this. I am a harding working doctor who saved his money and it pains me to have lost £660K in this share. I am very careful with scams but this was nothing more than a scam to get his LTIP of £10 million.

What i am bothered about and disturbed with is how can CEO of companies come on investor presentations and I am talking about Lyn Rees now and tell everyone that Novacyt is going to be profit making , accelerate growth and create share holder value . Why do they bul£££t ? This is just fraud because you are destroying people who have saved up hard earned money and are trusting you with their money but you are deceiving them.

Hi Goldfinger77 , I can't sell up , I am too deep in loss . Its all or nothing for me. My average is £5.81 . So its madness to sell at 41p . I want to sell up as these directors have basically trashed investors ever since Graham Mullis fooled everyone and got his £10million LTIP.

Lyn Rees knew all along that Yourgene were losing money , so why didn't they reduce head count 2-3 years ago . They would have saved £8-12 million if they had done it 3 years ago.

Just proves what buls££££t these people in senior positions talk to fool investors. Last year Joanne Mason was part of a investor presentation and gave presentation how exciting Novacyt were developing products for accelerated financial growth. Mover 12 months forward and she jumps ship and in fact was focusing on her own business that she was setting up. What a joke of a company this is in fooling its investors. From £12 to 26p
