There was a guy on here called Douglas Hallus [an experienced private investor ] who i actually spoke to on phone in 2021 and he told me to take my huge cash out of Novacyt as the management at Novacyt were weak and he predicted they would burn the cash , delist from AIM and go private . How right he is turning out to be so far.

What is the likelihood that the strategy by Novacyt board is to run down the cash , run down the SP and then delist the company from AIM . Basically go private company again ? They do not want private investors on board .

I recall last year at AGM , Lyn Rees mentioned Dr Joanne Mason would be presenting in 2025 , news of various tests that Novacyt are working on . So where is she ? Why she not in the presentation next week ?

Davand, it looks like James Wakefield gave Novacyt away to save Yourgene from bankruptcy. Total incompetence comes to mind . How much was James Wakefield paid off ? Will this be declared in last years accounts ?

I am thinking Novacyt would probably still have £70+ million in the bank if there is no Yourgene acquisition .

Davand , I only wished now I had cashed my money out when I read that Winnifrith article . I was inexperienced and naive, so really did not know what exactly to believe. Graham Mullis never clarified anything or responded to any news paper reports about the DHSC were disputing the Novacyt products , and the papers were reporting this in December 2020. It's only when Graham Mullis got his full hands onto his LTIP that he then and only then informed the stock market on 9th April 2021 12:30pm and crashing the share from £8 to £3.50. He then walked away with £10 million LTIP , leaving shareholders in ruin . He done nothing to progress the company after then , no post Covid-19 business strategy made by him , and left the company to pick up the damage left by him with his poorly negotiated non waterproof contract with DHSC. There were several errors made by Graham Mullis. 1. He never focused the business early on in the Covid-19 lateral flow tests which is where all the money flowed into . 2. He also squandered millions of pile stocking products that clearly the DHSC were never going to use. 3. He hired that struck off dentist , Arjun Reginald , who brought discredit to the company and the products into question. 4. No post Covid-19 business strategy. If this guy ws genuine , why not stay as chairman and fight for the company and fight the DHSC. Instead we ended up with waiting 3 futher years on the inept David Allmond and James McCarthy with no strong business strategies.

No Director buys. Does that not say alot more than words and presentations. I would not trust any of these directors. That Graham fooled everyone with his dishonest ramping to get his LTIP and witholding information until he got his LTIP . How many shareholders including experienced ones got fooled and lost money in this share ? We were all fooled. I have been in this share almost 5 years now and 92% down.

Yoseq compete with Primerdesign for contracts. There are lots of companies now offering PCR viral tests. This is why Primerdesign is being dismantled by the Yourgene management and control Novacyt finances. Youseq is essentially made up of ex Primerdesign staff.

UK government will not be throwing any money into UK diagnostic companies now . There is no money left to invest into UK companies .ln fact this government is trying to claw back as much taxes from tax payers and companies .

The only strategy Lyn Rees has is buying time for himself. He will take the salary every year until the cash runs out or he is pushed out. But I doubt if there is anyone who will push him out now as the chairman is from Yourgene as well . There is no one to really there to challenge and question his performance. There is no ambition by the directors to improve public relations.

It is astonishing how good public relations was and Granham Mullis hyped up the share with every opportunity , with media interviews and positive RNS. The moment he got his LTIP , not only did he not prepare any post Covid-19 business strategy, but all that hype he was churning out disappeared over night and he vanished with his £10 million LTIP. Moral of the story is this . These directors are crooks and you cannot trust a single word they say. I have had my fingers burnt off from investing in this as a result of Graham Mullis and his hype.

KT , thank you for confirming cost for Yourgene. I really do ask why the hell did Novacyt directors threw so much money away to save Yourgene and literally then give the company to them. It was a reverse takeover. It was Yourgene that was going into bankruptcy not Novacyt. I would rather have kept that £27.6m cash in the bank and instean invested in the R&D team at Primerdesign . Surely, there were small companies out there that were profit making that they could have merged or acquired. Novacyt would have right now ~ £60 million in cash if they hadn't bought Yourgene.

Does anyone know why so many 2 share buys today ? Don't you have to pay for each transaction charge of ~£5

BrainMcdade, Novacyt was my first and only investment. I had absolutely no experience with what goes on with AIM companies. I did not realise these directors are corrupt

My thinking now is , don't be fooled by these directors. They are passing time to pick those salaries and bonuses up. As soon as that cash is gone , that Lynn Rees will either put in a placing or delist from AIM. He will resign and leave . I just can't believe what a stupid fool I have been throwing my money into this company . The previous directors and current ones have destroyed investors.

BrainMcdade , I didn't sell because I never thought the DHSC would cancel the second contract . When Graham Mullis informed the stock market on 9th April 2021 at 12:30pm , the share price crashed from £8 to £3.50 . Graham Mullis knew about the dispute December 2020 or even as early as November 2020. I was lied and mislead by Graham Mullis in thinking that Novacyt were going to develop into a mid cap company . As soon as he got his LTIP , there was no post Covid-19 business strategy to develop the company further and he left as soon as he could kicking private investors in their backsides as he left.

No one has clarified salaries + bonuses of mentioned directors. I suspect Lyn Rees will walk away from Novacyt within next 2 years with £3 million in salary + bonuses , and when the cash in bank has all been spent .

Can someone clarify what is the salary & bonuses of the following people at Novacyt ?

CFO Steve Gibson

CSO Joanne Mason

Chairman John Brown

Novacyt are losing ~£1 million per month. So that makes it ~£27.5 million cash in bank now . If nothing changes ,then it will be £18 million December 2025 and then £6 million December 2026. And a placing predicted in 2027.

let's not digress here shall we and focus on my investment but lets understand exactly the meaning of the title of this heading . and that is the poor performance of previous and current directors. the fact that graham mullis left very shortly after receiving his ltip , and never disclosed that novacyt and the dhsc were in dispute until he got hands to his ltip. the papers knew about the dispute in december 2020 , but graham mullis could not come out and tell the stock market because he had his ltip that he needed to safeguard. don't forget graham mullis never focused on any post covid-19 business strategy after he got his ltip. then we had that fat slob of a chairman , james wakefield with his mantra of ' we have strong grounds to win the dhsc dispute ' , but reality was all he was doing was buying himself time to pick up his bonuses and salaries...... i can go on and on..... but one thing i do is that i say it as it is , i don't sugar coat something that is **** and what these people have done to private investors. i have been lied to by graham mullis as far as i am concerned.
