Dinglewolf, the case is won . The evidence is overwhelming. If you have nothing nice to say about anyone or have any good constructive points on this BB, then what is your purpose apart from being a narcissistic personality !
I want Novacyt to get as much money from this debacle made by the DHSC and make money from my investment . I invested huge amounts of money in Novacyt on the basis that this company was going to develop into a mid cap company . I did a lot of research into Novacyt before investing and was shocked with what the DHSC have done. I strongly feel DHSC should pay compensation for the loss of market Capitalization status of the company.
I want to know what the views from other investors are about this .
The SP of Novacyt ranged around £10-£8 between February 2021 to April 8th 2021. When the RNS was made at 12:30pm on 9th April 2021 the SP crashed to around £3.50 . It was the RNS informing the dispute with the DHSC . The SP has crippled steadily since then to 40p -70p due to this dispute . What I am eager to know is what compensation can Novacyt expect to get for this crippling of the SP by the DHSC . I know Novacyt are claiming for £81.8M + interest , but what about any claim against damage to company reputation and therefore SP. So if we base it on loss of market Capitalization, I would think Novacyt should be compensated by a further £350M-600M .
I spoke to Sunak today and he has agreed that ''Novacyt are innocent '' will be printed on all WBA kits and would be on show at all match days and at Wembley play off final soon . Not only that , but also shown on all electronic billboard advertising displays with this WBA kit throughout UK .
This is going to court all the way and no deal will be made before than , thats what I think , why ?
1. Novacyt wants to clear the good name as DHSC have basically ruined the company reputation and contributed to SP carnage.
2. Novacyt win case, and their defence fees would all be paid by DHSC.
3. Claim for full £81.5M + [ interest ~£10M ]
4. Plus compensation for defamation [ £100-250M ]
What do people think ?
Could it be possible Novacyt can also claim for compensation for defamation and thats why Novacyt's barrister is pushing for a high court hearing. What would this be worth to Novacyt as compensation, £100M - £250M ? Plus £81.5M + [interest ]

Londonwatcher , if you got burnt from Yourgene then I completely sympathise with you and understand how you feel with LR . We are hoping LR has learnt from his experience and will make good business judgement now. He will have a lot of money to play with at Novacyt , hopefully £130M + after the DHSC case is clarified. I cannot imagine LR will make the same mistakes again and sink Novacyt. He will be rewarded exceptionally well , for each £1 rise he will get almost £1M . LR will never get a better opportunity anywhere like this in his life , and he probably knows this is his last big pay deal he will ever get . If he fails , I doubt anyone will ever employ him has a CEO. LR will be aiming the SP to be has high has possible £20+
My thinking is we have a strong BOD with now how that has the ability to develop Novacyt into a billion pound company. Once the DHSC case has been clarified , the £130M+ in cash would allow scope for 3- 4 good acquisitions and generate profit margins of more than £100M annually. The LTIP , even though set at £1.38 is low , it more or less guarantees them , the BOD , the maximum shares. All LR & board need to focus on is creating a strong business plan and capturing companies that are in trouble ( like Yourgene were ) and have the potential of strong revenue with the right direction. Joanne Mason 'JM' appears to be commercially tuned with knowing what diagnostic molecular companies are doing what and how well . I make that obervation merely by the fact I notice she is clicking onto so many different molecular diagnostic companies on LinkedIn which I didn't see from James McCarthy or David Allmond or James Wakefield. Graham Mullis is still very active on LinkedIn and always clicking onto companies and executive personal. The fact JM is seen to be looking at various companies demonstrates she is seen to be active unlike the others I mentioned.
CS , I think in human nature greed is a big motivation . I think the next 2 years LR will be building the company up and hopefully we land a few bolt on acquisitions and some meaty contracts . The SP could well be above £10 , or £20 by the time 2026 comes and he can sell some of his shares which would be worth millions of pounds. I would be curious to see if he or any BOD buy up some shares after the DHSC case is finished.
I think pre trial is regarding DHSC £135M claim , which will be rejected. The court case will be Novacyt pursuit of £81.5 M + interest [£10M] and Novacyt will want every penny and that's why it will go to court
For every £1 on the share price , LR will pocket close to almost £1 Million . So £25 per share will generate him close to £25 Million . Therefore , it is a very massive motivation for him to make Novacyt the company very successful. I cannot see the BOD having any problems reaching their LTIP of £1.38 in 2026. This is a massive opportunity for LR , JM , and the CFO to become absolutely filthy rich , multimillionaires ! They will not have a better chance anywhere else. Wish I was in that privileged position !
Acquisitions is the only way this company is going to develop into a mid cap company . USA would be a good place to look for a decent company , and this is whee LR expertise comes in with acquisitions . £130M is a cash windfall to purchase 3-4 companies
