"We are well-positioned for the summer. The high demand for travel is a continuing trend."
Onwards and upwards!! GLA going to be a strong day!!
Poor show by LSE not posting the eagerly awaited RNS! They must try harder.
Along with noise of a rate in the near term this could do well next week.
Who knows today......maybe down on the open only for it to rise back before COP or nice tick up from the start.
Yes loss down to single digits and their operating profit is circa 70M not big enough to plan for dividends. Their borrowing is still high. For full year they see 7% growth.
Not much of fireworks to send it to 250p but hoping to see atleast 2-3% rise. They say good demand for summer so hopefully 180p is now the base. GLA
Down to 1.50 on open.... lol
"Q1 results beat expectations". You can't ask for more than that. Onwards and upwards!
It looks like it, solid results hopefully a good tick up today!!
Bet they tweaked the wording last minute as 2 fingers to O Leary
“We are committed to sustainable shareholder value creation and cash returns.”
All sounds promising and like the debt falling. Personally think this is a great first quarter set of results.

Morning! Or just download the VOX markets app. Put all your required companies in your watchlist and click on the rns @ 7am it sends a link for immediate reading?
Best of luck today all
Debt down to 7.4!
Loss for Q1 down substantially.
No real mention of a divi return.
Fingers crossed for a Blue start at 8.
We LTH deserve a break

D9Ber1 - it’s easier and quicker to just do what I do …
LSEG RNS - input that into your browser and it will bring up the news site. On the right hand side you will see a smaller menu and the top option is an option for live news. Just hit that and it brings up the new RNSs. You may have to refresh the button once or twice just after 7 am but then it should start to list them all. It’s also worth checking at 7:15 or 730 again as not everything is released at 0700
Can someone post the link to the RNS please.
The wait is over …))
Great results, should see a positive start .
“We are committed to sustainable shareholder value creation and cash returns“
Is that enough?
Cabin crew, seats for takeoff please…….or not
Enjoy the ride….
The company simply says on dividends that they are committed to shareholder return but do not give a date.
2 billion less in debt is the key figure for me ….
Bobbins..Strap yourself in for today's results. Let's hope we don't get tied up with any shocks. :))
1863 - I hear you, but the straightjacket thing is definitely a niche market.
Think Greta's put a bit too much weight on recently to be a supermodel. Think I'd prefer her with clothes or straitjacket on.
Greta Thunberg a supermodel? Haven't seen this, but I guess with rampant global warming, she will have no choice but to wear less clothing, so it kind of makes sense. Every cloud has a (climate change) silver lining.
Clank - I fear you are correct. We seem to live in an inverse world where good profits and a healthy outlook result in a price crash, and vice versa. All very confusing for a plebiscite such as myself, who gets a headache deciding whether to have another Moretti, or a glass of Sauvignon. Anyway, my Friday is already sorted - I have some menial tasks to complete in the morning, then I am off to a rather delightful pub in Portishead overlooking the Bristol Channel to get Wombled. Whether that is to celebrate or commiserate remains to be seen. Ether way, I win.
I think if we get some clear direction on continued positive debt reduction, timeline for restart of dividends, strong forward bookings and now hopefully at last nearing interest rate reductions, we should hopefully be on for a good day tomorrow, not withstanding any curve balls from Ukraine and Israel not already out there and priced in! GLA!!
Sorry casio_kid, I missed it!
