The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
"Lows 40's is a ramp target now"
That makes no sense. So if you are buy at these levels. Lets say 35p. Low 40s is a ramp target? So you would sell at say 37p?
Why not just stick your money in a high interest account and save all the fecking about and worry?
Any business that has traded for 10 plus years goes through periods of profitibility/growth and leaner/tougher times.
The strong models survive and challange costs/trim waste and when the economy is better they reap the benefits. There will be more money around in society as interest rates go lower. Money will leave high interest bank accounts and look for value/beaten down stocks.
Its just a case of if you think BOO will be one of those customers that will benefit when people have more money in their pockets.
BOO was priced for perfection through Covid and when it was over £3.50. It is now priced for a world the end of the world.
I know one thing this crap weather aint helping. Who is going to be looking to replen their summer wardrobe when you still need a jacket.
Ah so you do remember.
Sigh and an eyeroll, yes life wasting expert. I was the reason the entire Maritime Security Industry opted for cheaper labour. Being sarcastic. Nothing to do with the fact that from 2012 attacks fell of a cliff edge and bean counters worked out they could shave costs by not paying the high wages westerners demand. If you ever got out from behind your keyboard you might see that same tale in many industries.
Any way you comical clown. You dont need me to make you look a twat. The evening offers more that chatting you sweet heart.
Nothing to do
"As for Benjamin, he obviously is resentfull of having to go to work, considering his job was (we are told) protecting shipping from bandits, you'd think he'd be in demand current,y, but nope, must be at B&Q or something, maybe a Barissta, mhigh flyer or what. Spends all day on here sucking upto fellow rampers also underwater and venting his spleen in every post whilst dreaming on about recovering his cash here. Shame really, gutted for him lol."
life wasting expert.
Classic case of you seeing what you want to see to feel like a winner. When have I ever said or expressed that I dont like my job, I actually said the other day I love it and have been lucky enough to have enjoyied nearly all my jobs over the last 30 years. And no, I am not a barrista. I couldnt deal with the pretencious latte types. B and Q, nope but I wouldnt see it as beneath me. And last I checked they dont have days where they only do two hour shifts or have more time of than Clint Eastwoods safety catch off.
The Maritime I gave up in Oct 2014 after 3 years as planned. Its a life and industry you know nothing about. People change jobs all the time and I recall giving you the reasons why the industry tanked around 2014/2015. The subject only came up when there was a conversation that didnt revolve around you and was in reference to the Houthi attacks around the Bab El Mandeb. They would have to be paying me in excess of £150,000 a year and be able cast iron gaurantee 2 years of work with enough time at sea to for me to qualify for sea farers allowance. Its not as easy as you taking your head for a crap on here 20 times a day.
"Unfortunately after having Daynighttroll’s company for a whole weekend was too much and annual became “one off” I mean would you want to be in his company for five minutes."
I guess thats why he sticks to the online world. His brush with the real world feel short of his expectations that everyone would see him as he sees himself in his shaving mirror. Would love to hear their version of events and impression of him.
I think we have all met people like him in our real worlds and they tend to be rather pathetic charachters. The big I am, allways right, have to have the last world which only results in anyone with half a personality avoiding them. Resulting in small social circles and feeding that lack of ability to function in harmony with those around them. He is lucky to have 6 houses and retire as most people like that dont. They just get reminded daily that they are not really part of the team through their own making.
Anyway must shower as work beckons. For dtn knowledge, only 2-3 hours including travel today then gym. Fitness wins. Health before wealth and all that. The rest is just a bonus.
"Because he is part of a super successful group of elite investors. Didn't you know that Buffett actually spends all his time on the Coca Cola board of StockTwits trolling people day and night so he can buy more. I bet Daytrade is just the same, he's so negative all the time because he wants to buy a controlling stake with his multiple Cornish mansions."
I cant rule anything out LDLD. It could also be more simple. All evidence is he has no life. He cant communicate in the same way in real life as he does safely behind his keyboard. He has to have the last word, has to be right. Never made a mistake in his life you would think. Basically the worst kind of dinner guest or person to sink a few pints with. Retired and money is of no object yet his wife works still. Probably to get out of the house or to use as cover.
I agree its up to him what he does with his free time, but I would hope most people in that fortunate position would do do something more postitve for the community or for themselves.
"Are you going to sell when/if you hopefully get back to your break even? or are you still dreaming of better things."
I will make my own decisions with regard to my overall investment portfolio and life in general.
"Wouldnt want to follow the rampers on here now would I, they've hardly called anything right."
I can honestly say I cant see any evidence of you calling it right. You just state the present state of play at the time, which is basically stating the obvious. What on Earth made you buy at 41p???? You know, if you know so much.
hi dtn,
i expect if boo ever hits 41p you will be bailing and moving on with your life?
you would have to be ******ed to hang around surely?
"'big mike' is regretting the day he bought in here - even with his massive support this sp just isnt going anywhere - if he ever sells any to recover his funds, well."
Maybe it was just a fun punt for him.
Maybe he has mid to long term view on the stock rather than 3 months.
However daft his decision might seem to some at least he aint, to my knowledge a troll.
Cheers LDLD
You too, hard not to in that part of the world.
I’m sure there will be. Still reminds me I have a life. Must be grateful for that.
"Whats a gyro? part of compass or Bens old boat."
Making no sense as usual.
Anyway master of wasting life. Weekend has started. Enjoy yours. I do have pity for you yer know.
Such a tragic charachter.
"Must be tough being at someone elses beck and call, dreaming of retirement."
Been lucky, enjoyed nearly all my jobs over the years including this one. Though it could end one day, like anything. Judging by the things you say on here and how tiny your world is I dont think you would beleive the things I have been paid for.
Did you dream of spending your days being a troll on the internet when you used to work?
LDLD
Give Batik Air a try. Flew with them from Surabaya to Bali in 2018. Nice clean aircraft.
"Bad day at work this morn8ng then Benjamin, or just the sweaty testosterone at the gym today?
Seems a polite answer to you sets you off in a silly rant lol
What are you on about. Where is the rant? You do see things how you want to see them dont you.
I gym'd this morning thanks and a chill around the spa WFH Fridays and only have an hour or so admin to do. Finished by 1400.
We stayed at the Altara Suites across the road from the beach. Really good value. The only thing over priced I felt was seafood. Relative to everything else.
There is the Ho Chi Minh museum full of hardware from the war, aircraft, fixed wing and choppers. Marble Mountain a good site.
We was only there 4 nights and then 4 in S'pore on the return. Limited as youngest still at school.
If you can get over to Indonesia and you have a bit of time check out Mt Bromo. You would have to fly into Surabaya and its hefty drive but worth it.
Got to say not a massive fan of Bangkok, but I was only there 4 nights and was a while ago.
Get over to Da Nang if you can. Less than a 3 hour flight.
"Buff please make comments relevant
Failed teacher has said Thailand"
Not the conversation I remember.
LDLD has just said he is overlooking the straits. Which must be the Malaca Straights.
He would have some effing balcony and eyesight to see from Thailand.
Why let the facts get in the way though hey.
"Daytrade is Colin Robinson! Love it, that is all I will be able to see now everytime he comments."
Just googled. I get it now. Not seen the show a chick I know who has had some less than pleasant experiences with "men" online, trolls and such mentioned Colin and made the same comparison. Art imitates life or something, as the saying goes.
Superherosam,
I would say the standards to teach in Singapore are signifcantly higher than they are in the UK. You only got to look at the students they turn out and Singapore in general.
If someone spends their life behind a keyboard with several alias you may not have the time to see the real world. Beyond walking a dog along some cliff no one ever heard of.
Is that gen, life wasting expert is Colin Robinson?
Name like Colin says it all dont it. Knows everything, airfix models. Reminds me of that Harry Enfield charachters.
You know the one "I dont believe you wanted to do that.
