@ Courdelion. I get a state pension and it is much less than I paid in. Even now my income tax is 4X my state pension. So not all pensioners are a burden.

Anon, Thatcher may have spent some north sea revenue on umemployement benefit but at least it was not by borrowing which is what we have now.

@Newbie, my thinking is that I wil elect to recieve cash for my shares and I will get 13% more cash back than i am investing in shares just now. Nort a bad return for a few months wait.

@newbie, a corporate action will arrive on your HL account and you will be asked to tick a box, either accepting cash or shares. You will likely have a couple of weeks to decide.

In the meanwhile I am buying more as the % uplift tom 52 p more than outweighs the risk of the bid not happening imv. I was expecting it would trade at 50p today.

This year has some major catalysts which will further propell the sp - even if the market does not do so today, I am expecting £4.20 today.

As far as I am concerned , providing each town has a 'shop' that will do basic banking functions the sooner un used banks closed the better. Turn them into housing/pubs/retail - things that people need/want.

I think we have collectively lost all sense of reason. Who actually thinks that spoken words should ever amount to any sort of crime? Don't use a claim company - contact the finance company direct. That is the advice from the FCA as I recall.

Speedie, the fact you have not paid tax is probably bc you did'nt fill in your tax form correctly- they may still come after you !

I was expecting a50% rise as the major risk to the project, which was outside the company's control has now gone. I have added and hopefully the market will push the sp up some more.

@Welsh - my view take some profit and diversify- this share has a lot of 'future hope' built into it so your profits could easily melt away imv. I am taking more profit if it gets to £2 btw.

The shre buy back is extremely effective here in lifting the sp simply because the free float is small. I can see this at £1 during world cup easily.

@dwam - I keep thinking that bubble has to burst but year in year out the nasdaq just keeps powering ahead.!

@drift - I disagree Lgen is a solid and respected british company .

@James, what are the better opportunities ? IAG perhaps or ezj? Your thoughts welcome.
