Deckers unfortunately [HOKA} published poor sales numbers in USA yesterday - not sure how that aaffects us - but not great for sentiment.

Volume on ASX was low today only 1.8m shares and if news of results had leaked , imv volume would be much higher than normal. So I am holding and will add if the SP is manipulated down.

@Nickpat - ref trading on both exchanges. IG index quote me the asx price in aud and the UK price in GBP on my normal trading platform . Not traded any on ASX myself but confident they would let me.

Bought some more @398 - will add again if it falls to 395

On Friday , I observed that the ASX keep reporting large sales just before their close. They did it again today - is this an attempt to get us to sell on the cheap? I shall be buying more if we dip below £4 as the high POG has boosted our cash flows and de risked the capex we need going forward.

@Paulpatriot, if you think there is a market crash coming you should buy IG Group shares because they do well when there is high volatility. No worries about them going bust because they don't hold a 'book' therefore they just cream it in as people panic sell. DYOR.

I look at the trading volumes on ASX and today, like other days a huge 'sell' trade has been put through just before their close. I am suspicious about that and am wondering if it is an attempt to drag the sp down so that the UK market is then suppressed and , in frustration we sell. I for one won't be selling because we have so much news coming.

My view, an institution has looked over the deal and decided they don't like it and want him gone so that they can get a better deal. Given he has promoted Sid as the best on offer he has to leave.

Sp gradually creeping up - just quoted 402 to sell. Frankly should be 602 to sell but thats another story.

There are lots of people talking the market down BUT i think there 'normal' UK stocks are undervalued whereas the AI hyped stocks in the US are over valued - they need to correct and when they do markets will be seen to correct because they represent so much of thge world's markets. Just one stat I find incredible Nvidia is worth more than the whole FTSE100 . Wow - where on earth does the market think their chips are going ? to the moon like their hyped up share price?

I think that UK investors will almost disappear over the next couple of years [by design?] because we now rate the company at a lower level than on ASX. Just now POG is almost back to $4000 but the UK share price is still below the ASX close AND that was after a last minute fall caused by a large sell. Furthermore volumes here are lower than on ASX . I don't like the way it is going and am wondering if we are being 'encouraged' to sell up , any views folks? BTW I also agree we are still the new kid on the block , suffering from the need for lots of capex in the near term BUT both the UK and the Aussie market should see it similarly.

Rashm i have owned fxpo but wouldn't touch them with a barge pole these days.Why? The war in ukraine leaves them vulnerable to total wipe out by a Russian missile ot two, the country is renowned for corruption, the government could seize its assets for a number of reasons and the USA could do a deal where it suddenly acquires 90% for a song, otherwise its great.

I would not want to be short here [although some are] unless i had a leveraged investment on the gold price!
