Investors hopefully realising that nothing has changed and Avacta working towards wonderful delivery of some exciting products in the very near future. Covid isn't going away anytime soon. Testing is the way forward for now!!!
I think it takes a brave man not to be invested here now. We know good news is coming and a decent RNS could land any day, I'm staying invested here, I dont want to miss out on the opportunity when this tockets!! GL All!!
Good post Adamstallone, optimism and realism I reckon. It takes time to develop tests and vacines. I'm confident in being invested in here, I should have sold out at £2 and then brought back in myself, however for the longer term, I truely believe I will be fine as will other investors as Avacta will deliver. There are continous spikes of Covid going on, no vacine yet so testing is the way forward and reliable testing at that. I believe in Avacta and in their vision!! Those that do will do very well here indeed in my view!!!
I think people are starting to realise nothing has changed, this company is on track and Covid-19 isn't going away anytime soon. Testing testing testing is the way forward and Avacta will deliver!! I'm not selling I dont want to be out of this when the ultimate news arrives that we've been waiting for!!!
RE: The Virus is not going away! Test, test, test!30 Jun 2020 06:46
Great post Ricken, agree totally the virus is out there not going away anytime soon. What was clear from the Panarama programme last night, if the UK had a rigorous track and trace programme in place, it was of the belief that many more lives possibly could have been saved. Testing is the way forward and I look forward to Acacta delivering its product, being able to tell if individuals have covid 19 in minutes. This will be invaluable for instance at airports, for hospital staff for pupils and teachers at schools and will help unlock economies.
I saw Panarama this evening a few posts talked about earlier, Avacta will be a game changer if people can know pretty much immediately if they have Covid. Patience needed here, we will be rewarded!! Covid is certainly not gone away, Leicester us finding that out and I'm sure Bournemouth will be next after last weekend!!!
A bad day for the SP today, I guess this can be expected until news comes. I topped up today at 118, possibly should have waited a bit. On the other hand, when a decent Rns lands it wont matter, SP will then have a decent rise. GL to all investors here long term here it's a great investment and when were good to go with the tests for covid-19 hopefully up past £3 mark.
Daggermal,it depends what the conditions are, I personally don't think they want any bailout, as then Virgin would also have to be offered a similar bailout in terms of approach and WW would be happy for Virgin to go to the wall. I think the board wil look for options to take government cash such as loans, Furlough, without the need to have conditions and be tied down which could restrict the group going forward e.g. like Lufthansa, I believe he german government will have seatson the board. Staff are going to be furloughed until end of July 20, hopefully the unions and BA CEO talk and agree a suitable framework for discussions. Once flying starts again in anger, your looking at current SP moving up towards £3.50 mark. Long term holders will do fine here, with further competitors going under due to Covid-19, IAG should do well, but your looking at 3 -5 years before getting back to pre covid levels of flying.
Hoping for a decent rise I think we may have hit the base. Nursing a loss average at 2.61 but here for the long term. IAG one of the best run groups will survive. Structural changes will need to be made and if they can avoid a deep share dilution, the SP should start to lift with a number of air bridges in place. It's going to take time to get business travellers back and also for US to open up, so in the meantime I see this backup towards the £3 mark possibly to £3.50. GL All!!
I think anyone with common sense will keep hold of their shares now, this company is well funded, an excellent RNS yesterday, the proof will be when we start selling and go to market. In what I've seen and read and listened to and researching posts here, we seem to be on the right tracks to something very big. I feel we will start moving back up towards the £2 mark!! The virus isn't going away anytime soon, I saw the 2nd wave out breaks in Germany for our product. It's often about being in at the right time and right place. I personally feel the boss is very confident and I believe AVACTA will be very successful. Yes there will be down days and up days, but I think for those investing here long term, this is still a multi bagger at current share price with there being more up days to come than down days. I believe this company is one of those that will be life changing for its treatments and tests it delivers but also for those that remain invested. I laugh reading the ramping and deramping comments, above all I wish everyone the best of luck with their investment decisions!!!!
