Interesting, price holding up well around £13 mark, next traffic stats out soon, do the City boys know something we don't. I had a cheeky top up bought back slightly higher than I liked at £13.09 but long term this is a winner!! GLA!!

Morning All and Happy New Year 2026!! I'm reading the threads below with interest. Lots of interesting comments on this board but it will be as always for individuals to make up their own decisions. What I'm looking for:

1. Solid traffic stats.

2. Sustained travel and growth on new routes.

3. Continuation of reduction in aircraft on ground due to known engine issues and in line with timeline to get fixed.

4. No new unknowns.

I think if we have the above, then there will be a rise in profit, rise in confidence and the SP here will really take off and fast too!

If and when Ukraine gets settled, that is a huge market for WIZZ so this will drive up the SP further. I think if we achieve all of the above as we head towards 2027, confidence will be back and SP could potentially be around double current levels in my opinion. GLA!!

I don't think a pull back unless confirmed this round of talks are dead. At the moment their not but personally I can't see a way forward unless the Donbas goes to Russia in its entirety.

Hi B777 I agree and also worth noting but of course you will be aware, that airlines typically negotiate substantial discounts on large orders with the manufacturers so benefit from this when they undertake a sales and lease back or even if holding for longterm and values of metal going up. Not withstanding another black Swan event, I personally see substantial rises from the current SP base. Once all the birds are flying and all new planes in situ, the SP will be towards £40 - £60 mark as you have said, concentrating on their core markets!! Once a few solid results sentiment returns and this will rocket big time!! GLA and enjoy the festivities!!

It's never easy to guess what will happen with investing but always good to read all comments positive and challenging too. In agreement with you B777 but hoping to use the opportunity to average down and make more money from WIZZ. I've managed to average down from £13.25 to £12.85 but hoping to do much lower, that way load up on more WIZZ and bigger profits when the inevitable big squeeze happens and it will!! GLA and Happy Christmas too!!

I sold around 40% of my holding, don't get me wrong I still believe in WIZZ but managed to get back into the black with my average at £12.85, so if there is an opportunity to average down using the funds from the 40% I sold I will look to do so and try and bring down my average considerably. Currently I just feel the SP is too high given there won't be an immediate settlement on Ukraine, Americans not saying much but Russia isn't going to concede on its demands for the Donbas in its entirety, so I feel the SP here will drop back a bit in early Jan on no positive news. GLA!!

I'm debating to buy back in on my tranche I sold at 12.85 but hoping to average down or hold off on the hope I get another chance if it drops back below £12. Do people think we have left the low £12s behind or maybe another chance early new year? I still maintain a large holding here though as medium to longterm a no brainer at current prices, accepting the risk v reward. GLA!!

@johnbrie4 I know airline stocks can be extremely volatile, patience and often good lady luck is the key. I did well on IAG but got in here too high, but have managed to average down a bit. Sentiment of a stock is often one of the biggest factors, once WIZZ get a few more positive results under it's belt, only a matter of time before the shorters reduce in my opinion. GLA!!

I think the war will go on for now although agree Russian's are clearly starting to get frustrated. As long as we have continued growth in Pax numbers and good profits, as Captain says the SP will go up. In for the long haul but hoping to average down in the short term. GLA!!

An opportunity for individuals to lower their averages. We all know medium to longer term the SP will be considerably higher but in the interim, turbulence in the SP can be expected GLA!!

That's the suggestion but unfortunately I don't see that happening unless Putin really convinced he needs to conceded and reach a compromise. We will see what comes out of the Miami talks, but either way in 2026, more aircraft, more engines fixed and supplied = more ££££ for WIZZ. GLA!!

I agree with you entirely on that front, I just don't believe Ukraine will cave in as long as they have European support. If that waivers and Trump plays Russia's narrative, a very different story of course.

I would hope so Captain, unfortunately as much as I would like the war to settle, I can't see Russia settling just yet. The EU need to tighten the sanctions that Russia face and really make Putin think that continuing is a bad idea. At the moment he is going for all of the Donbas so unfortunately in my view the war goes on for now, but hopefully I'm wrong and he agrees a settlement. GLA!!

I'm trading with 40% of my holding remaining keeping invested, all in pension. Sold some at 12.84 yesterday waiting for them to drop further before buy back in. Long term WIZZ will be considerably higher, unfortunately unless war in Ukraine settled in near term, volatility remains but opportunity to average down if brave enough. We will see, GLA!!
