I'm only just in the black bringing my average down when the price dipped in Sept. Very confident of a decent recovery, on a recent trip to HKG, crew were telling me increasing to a second daily flight from the summer schedule. Holding for long term, pension and small day trading. Will be interesting to see what results bring Fri next week, I'm confident should be good numbers and heading in right direction hopefully marching up towards 200 mark. Gl All!!
A slow and steady climb now, I'm flying out of HKG on Sunday eve so will be interesting to see how full the flight is, given HK has only recently opened up at the back end of last year. Looking forward to IAG breaking the £2 barrier and hopefully a nice steady march to £2.50 if not more by the summer school holidays. GL All!!
Great company here, back in on the dip, airlines flavour of the week at the mo, but very confident of a good tick up here!! GL All!!
At the rate travel recovery is going, I'm confident you will reach your £3.50 target a lot sooner than you think. Remember airlines took the opportunity to gecome more trimmer and leaner during Covid, when there is a full return to normality, IAG and the other big Airlines should do very well indeed!! GL All!! A positive 2023 ahead, just need the war in Ukraine to finish!!
My average unfortunately is 163 but I did buy shed loads around the 97p mark so all good. Hoping for a steady rise up to the 180 mark, I think we will get there by end if Feb with good momentum and news coming out from other airlines. GL All looking forward to a good year ahead in IAG!!
I also read gas bill forecasts to be less in later part of this year with wholesale gas prices coming down. All good to give the public more of an incentive to travel.
Ethiad also bringing back some of their A380s due to unprecedented demand, its going to be a busy summer by the looks of things, hoping for a continued and steady rise here!! Hoping for £2.50+ next summer, good luck all!!!
Interesting discussion re offering on Easyjet. If they were to and get at a good price, any likelihood IAG would provide some slots for Easyjet at Heathrow, assuming if they were to keep the brand. 4.50 to me feels too low, but if true a number of Execs want out, then anything is possible. Easyjet is a strong brand, personally I don't see the brand disappearing!! Interesting discussion. I'm invested here and Easyjet, be interesting to see what happens next!!
