I would hold off eating too many chips until the results come in! The Iran war will get settled soon and assuming no new curve balls and no further surprises in end of year results, WIZZ will be on the up assuming strong summer bookings and good forward look. Shorts then start to close and up we go, I will celebrate with a large bag of chips myself, until then lots of votality here! GLA!!

Let's wait and see what results in June are like. That will be a good indicator where we're at. GLA!

Good post Yeskam, spot on too! Wizz targeted big time by the shorters!! Vararadi said in his recent interview not cutting capacity which is good. Hopefully things get sorted soon, in meantime I've taken opportunity to average down when war is finally settled along with Ukraine, we will look back and not believe how low the SP got to! If WIZZ can survive Covid it can certainly survive this current situation and a nice surprise we'll hedged too! Once positive news comes on Iran war settling, shorters will be forced to close their positions and SP here will absolutely take off, I remain a long term holder, very confident in WIZZ too, GLA!!

Thanks Yeslam, what's the approximate timescales for fixing an individual aircraft with GTF issues? I'm just trying to see roughly how long more before all birds are back flying not withstanding AOGs and maintenance of course. GLA!!

Thanks for your post MikeS02, good reading and I read on the extra tankers hitting to the US, yes hopefully all sorted by end of May!! Once normal service resumes share price here will rocket, once confirmation safe passage for tankers through the straits. It will take time to clear the mines of course, with stock markets looking ahead, folk who buy around current SP range will do well. GLA!!

The problem we have bjet, it just takes one statement from Trump either way and that controls the market, add in dealing with Iran. I'm locked in here at now £11.22 average but very confident WIZZ will pull through this and once war settles, yes will take time but before long when aircraft all flying SP will be north of £30. Until then lots of volatlity in the SP but fortunes rewards the brave, as you say all about timing!!! GLA!!

@Teddy100 I think it's more the American public won't and with mid terms approaching, this will focus Trumps mind on getting this war resolved. Who blinks first US or Iran? GLA!!

Good update thanks for sharing, I've loaded up here to average down, issue I find when there is positive news you get locked out when trying to trade and then miss the boat before SP rises, usually a big jump or fall depending on news. This war will get resolved and I personally think may provide opportunity for WIZZ to grow market share. Yes I'm in the red big time, but this will come good and myself and hopefully all of you good people here make lots of money. When consumers don't have much money they will he looking at cheaper alternatives, yes some won't fly anymore but others will opt for cheaper budget carriers. Don't be the last person near the bear! GLA!!

Trump wants an off ramp out of this war, I suspect a deal will be done shortly! GLA!!

It will be interesting to see what happens in the SP when we do finally get news of a deal done to open up the strait of Hormuz. A number of the shorters will close, together with the positive view ahead of clear skies after the turbulence, it will be like a coiled spring we have seen before SP will rocket quickly!! GLA!!

A compromise will be reached, Trump looking for a way out and with the US now blocking Iranian ships, this will focus Iranian minds too to get back to the table with a deal. I tried day trading here yesterday but kept getting locked out by the MMs, decided to sell down some of my IAG and load up further here, holding for long term, WIZZ will come good, we just need a deal for the sake of everyone. GLA!!

I thought the sane, I guess the world waiting to see what happens, as the war hits more Americans in the pocket I'm sure this will focus Trumps mind. Hopefully we get this settled and the world moves on, I remain a holder here and confident things will change for the good!! GLA!!

@frank6, it would be guess work, even if the middle east war resolves, will take time for fuel to flow through, confidence to be restored, I would have thought we would head back towards the £14 mark quite quickly, assuming war does settle in middle east, and then moving towards positive results for WIZZ in June, we could then be moving towards the £18 mark all in my opinion. A lot depends on progress of fixing aircraft engines and how WIZZ has done in the new routes /established routes. Either way excluding Ukraine, I would have thought assuming losses are limited to what is reported already or not much above, then we got to be looking towards £20 by end of year in my opinion, not withstanding any new curve balls. Once Ukraine gets resolved then were looking towards the £30 mark, but most likely that figure towards end of 2027. GLA!!

This is like playing roulette, black or red. Progress towards ending war and the SP will rocket next week, go the other way and it drops!! I've bought back all my tranches and lowered my average now to £11.33, I've taken a loss but thankfully timed it well with other shares to enable me to average down. The war will have to end here too much pressure from international players, I'm backing it will be resolved strait of Hormuz will open up shortly and hopefully then this war resolves and we move on towards a resolution for Ukraine while we have the momentum for getting piece. We solve both these wars and the SP here will absolutely fly!! GLA!! An interesting week ahead!!

I've got a 5 -7 year time scale, I think once the engine issue sorted and will take a few years, regardless of Ukraine, you've got to be at £30 mark, with Ukraine sorted probably towards £40 mark I would have thought, assuming no new curve balls , Iran all sorted and no new middle east wars!! I would say around £20 by end of this year with some of the shorts closing, it will be interesting to see where we get to with results in June. GLA!!!

OTCD, I disagree with you, but certainly in the short term yes, looking in the medium term, assuming things get back to normal and they will, (Hopefully), then we should be closer to the £30 range than we are in the £14-£18 range. Its hard to know if there will be an attack, anything is possible with |Trump, I've taken half my holding out just incase especially as we have a long weekend, a lot can happen before markets open on Tuesday morning! A game of roulette, I'm hoping to average down further so if prices dip I buy more, if not I still have skin in the game, so covered either way. GLA!!

A good read on the savings in fuel with WIZZ reducing number of CEO aircraft, particularly in the current climate. Looking forward to an all NEO fleet eventually, good cost savings and more £££ earned! GLA!!
