Seems words getting out
Forget 4-5p we are talking a producer of copper and a share price far over 20p sounds much more reasonable. I can't believe the market valuation this is moving from. Shocking!
Someone earlier mentioned todays news could propel AFP into a mining major
Huge resource & now in production
Would be interested to know others’ thoughts
Hopefully get back to 3.7p in short order.
Took my first position this morning. Like the look of the licenses, the FQM and Sandfire agreements. Have been watching for a while. Hopefully good timing.
Bottom of the RNS.... AFP is in advanced discussions with several parties that have expressed interest in non-equity based funding of the capital requirements of the Ongombo Project and it is anticipated that shareholders will be further updated with these matters, project advancement and milestones in the near future.
1. Advanced discussions
2. Several parties
3. Non equity funding
4. Near future
What is important is that there is non equity funding in place which means no dilution for share holders and no placing
Where do you see the share pirce going on that news? Looks pretty good to me!
Market value is a mere 5mil.
Should be noted that of all his various companies Colin has his biggest holding in African Pioneer and Tiger Royalties his vehicle also had holdings in AFP so plenty of incentive to make this work
Sounds good. Colin has really taken to ore sorting across his stable of companies.
That's a huge RNS and the markets don't know!
Excellent news. You don’t half get a lot for £4m market cap here
Nice update.
cyberiachas 'It has been 6+ months since any ongombo news - that’s not great'
Yes, put simply, not good enough especially when Colin has said repeatedly it is going to be so easy to get mining there.
Even if the rain impedes substantial drilling, there’s a lot more to exploration - geophysics, soils, modelling. I think there will be a substantial update
Should we expect much from FQ for quite a while ? It’s been a horrendous wet season last couple of months at least I believe so I would think they will just have mobilised again recently- or maybe they work through it all which would be impressive.
It has been 6+ months since any ongombo news - that’s not great - can only hope that it’s positive and just around the corner
Hi all
I’ve added £5k just now. The next FQ update should be in the next 2-4 weeks and in the run up to the previous two updates the SP rose in anticipation. Also agree that news on Namibia is overdue and could come soon. I have previously stated my view that AFP is grossly undervalued and never more so than at these medium term lows. Good time to buy in my opinion
We need to be hearing something from our own project in Namibia. Typical of all Colin's stable of miners, everything takes an age. Although in the blather to the Sunday Roast crew he always paints a very different picture.
Get on with it Colin :-/
I see the sp has risen by 5% on zero sales or buys. Just a rather non-descipt RNS.
This certainly looks like 1.5 p is on the cards here
This is aim...
This is a junior exploration stock....
Its high risk, and unpredictable, and there will be no news, until there is.
Have you looked at the whole 4 trades today. A sum total of £1500 worth of shares traded...... and I have a paper loss of £700.
Wait for the share price to fall, and if you believe, buy more. Otherwise, these companies may not be for you.
Just shocked this is so low now and my feelings are this will level out at 1.5p
I take it as a positive that FQ and Sandfire are still putting money into exploring our licences.
Cannot believe we are at these prices and worried this will keep dropping like xtr and Glr did shocking
