Anyone got any idea on why we are having such a big rise in the share price? News on the pipeline? Welcome rise but why?

Owning GKP stock is like being in purgatory.
When will the Iraq-Turkey pipeline reopen? When will the KRG pay the company what they owe for past deliveries? And what will GKP be like after this palaver is over?
I loved this stock back in the day for her regular dividends, super-charged dividend yields and low valuation multiples. But the reasons for this are now crystal clear - this will always be a hyper high-risk stock for as long as they operate in this geography alone.
Kudos to management for steadying the ship in recent months. Local sales and cost-cutting have kept the team in place and the cash balance at safe levels. Things could have been so much worse without sensible on-the-ground action.
I'm holding GKP until we get some material good news. Then I'll probably reallocate some funds to AET & ENQ.

Even Malcy, splashing it around,
Oil weakened yesterday, it was a combination of a bit of profit taking as the quarter started and also the weak dollar had its turn in putting off buyers. Also the news about the Turkish pipeline reopening finally convinced the market that supply was increasing although only a little. The Opec meeting starts tomorrow and given that Brent is off the top I can’t see the Saudis offering to cut back this time.
Not the Time to be sitting on the sidelines, you have been warned, its going to flow!!!!!!

Yep. The next dividend will be paid a few weeks after it is declared. You are welcome.
Can anyone advise me when we can expect our next dividend?
Panr is the one to get on to recoup any losses.
Anyone know why the SP has jumped 10p?

….. depends what’s in it for him(of course).
Strikes me that Erdogan, as with a lot else (Sweden in Nato anyone?), may now be in the mood for a deal. Election's over and Turkey is badly in need of cash.

May 3 (Reuters) - Iraq expects to reach an agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to restart oil export flows from the country's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region within two weeks, Oil Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani said at a conference in Baghdad on Wednesday.
Hopefully Soon.
When do we expect to see some upwards share price movement? Been holding July 21 and had hoped the share price would have been over 300p by now. Is a sale actually ever going to happen, i am not too sure.
Shell will buy us out
Exxon sorry not Shell
You would have thought a Shell takeover of GKP would have had a positive effect on the SP ?

Also says the board were also in on it at the time. Little wonder they voted themselves huge pay rises.. They deliberately crushed the company through greed.
Explains how GKP got the licence's
I hope there’s a few former GKP shareholders in that jail.

Short on
I have a few left in a festering nominee account. Is there much upside with these thieving rascals shorting it every day?

Worth top up?
Hi all
I haven't been in here for ages.. Got too depressing.
I see emails re share buy backs, should I be worried as I doubt they will buy my shares at theb£4.00
War Between Greece and Turkey Is Now a Real Possibility ...Armenia too ,supported by Russia .
So Turkey will have two fronts which may push the Kurds to make the move. By the way the NATO is doing nothing to sort this mess between its two members GR & TK , i realy wish i am wrong .

anyone explain me this morning sharedealings???? i never understand statements about major interest in share statements thank you
Well haven’t been on here a while but notice not a lot has changed lol apart from:
- we are now a dividend paying company
- confirmed fully funded so no need to ask for any money
I don’t know another mid tier oil company that is in a more healthy position, the current share price is ridiculous no matter what way you look at it. The cash in the bank the free cash flow and ever expanding production will make this a complete cash generating machine. The only downside I see is the current BoD have baggage and they couldn’t sell sand to the Arabs.
The share price should be reflecting a 1 - 1.5bn company in the short term with medium term target of returning to 2bn+ company. Once 55kbopd then 3bn+. We need a BoD to sell this story and unshackle the previous history to unlock the true value here.

You're on the wrong board Lol
This is the secret Gkp bb where the nutters don't hang out.
The entire board goes on a Jolly boys outing without me, you know keep it hush we don't want him with us.
I feel like the poor Jap hid out in the jungle for 25 years not knowing the war was over.
What happened.
