DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Next has pleasure in announcing the appointment of Tom Hall as a non-executive director with effect from 13 July 2020.
Tom joined Apax Partners, the global private equity firm, in 1998 and leads their Consumer investing activities in Europe. In that role, he serves on the advisory board of Takko Fashion, a value fashion retailer principally operating in Germany, the supervisory board of Wehkamp, a Dutch online retailer of fashion, electronics and home & garden products, and as a non-executive director of MATCHESFASHION, a global luxury retailer.
Tom was a board member of Auto Trader Group plc following its successful IPO in 2015 until 2016, having led Apax's investment in the business in 2007. He also served on the board of Ascential plc in 2016 and SouFun Holdings Ltd from 2010 until 2015.
Prior to joining Apax, Tom worked at S.G. Warburg and Deutsche Bank.
The Board confirms that there are no other disclosures to be made under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of this appointment.
