RE: New York.......New York!11 Jul 2023 14:16
If you don't want me to repeat myself why do you keep asking the same question?
You seem to want to ignore the market and what they want from their investment rather than acknowledging that is not just about the science.
You either think the market (AIM, FTSE100 whatever) , is benign and its just a place to exchange stock or you accept where money is involved lots of other factors come into play to get the "best" price and to to try and get the better of the buyer/seller.
FWIW,I think its a shark infested pool.
Hers a few: Are there any pharma's that have drugs that mitigate the side effects of chemo? If so how do you think they feel about a AVCT. They can't stop it but would they want to delay it coming to market?
Would it suit potential large buyers to get in at the lowest price rather than say 200p per share? If they know that a raise MIGHT or LIKELY be on the cards they will wait. The longer the cash burn goes on the bigger the raise, the bigger the dilution. That would suit them.
AS has already acknowledged that the stock is already valued so highly that it makes it hard(er) for the potential buyers to get the return they want. In other words, right now in their view, the risk reward is not particularly favourable.
What the market does not care about, is the patients AVCT or its employees. It does not even care about the science presently.
Its not actually a mystery at all as to why the SP is rooted down here at these levels. However, the one reason you can rule out is the fact its on AIM.
