Yes Bladders, but research is not worth that much in my experience. It has its place but here's the thing. All the research last time would have seen a fall of about 75%. (Di your research for instance see the purchase of a rig?) Say there had not been a purchased rig and the Friday RNS was the last one we read. Did your research tell you that there was a problem with Sofori? And if we had not got a rig that would have been another years drill window gone, and almost certainly another cash raise
All research is is reading the latest report RNS and then guessing the potential outcome.
Once the official news is out there, the "researcher" then has to make the assumption that their research is so good that it has out performed the market's collective knowledge of the same info and therefore they see potential SP appreciation.
My take is that the collective market is much more risk averse than the average PI on these types of BB's.
HE1, may shoot up but only if it discovers commercial helium. It failed last time. It is an exploration company that loses money and is a high risk enterprise.
The market will allocate some funds at this high-risk, early stage, but if all goes well will pile in because it has been de-risked.
You (we) can all pat ourselves on the back if this goes well, but the risk was/is very high that this will pay off.
Personally, for me, I find the SP tells a more accurate up-to-date story than research. But as always, each to his own. No system is infaliable.
