Biggi, I have been seduced by the potential of AVCT but to be absolutely honest, it has serially disappointed in everything it has done thus far.

I can't rationally explain to myself why P1a has taken this long. Why P1b has gone quiet, why there will be a phase 3 when it was stated there would not be a need for it.

I get that exact timelines given what they are doing are not applicable but I do feel that there has been some very careful wording about the future now and it just means this is (which I have said for a while), a long haul stock with the inherent increased risk of failure. Certainly the extended timelines suggests (to me) its not quite the "miracle cure it seemed to be as it would have garnered much more interest when we do read about companies being bought out or making it into the media.

Anyway, I have learnt to be sceptical about future expectations from BoD's . I am always aware I know nothing about what is actually going on but I do know that BoD's can be as explicit as they like and its cause for pause when they leave statements open to interpretation. (and never in a good way).

All loss making companies are on aim to raise money. and thats it. They are not there for the PI.

My mistake was to believe in the 24-36 month timeline as by implication it could be forecasted as to what the cash bur/finance needs were.

But this never ending Jam tomorrow has continued to throw that calculation meaningless.

This could all come good tomorrow with a buyout or some sort of deal but it would be for me, unexpected, and I can't expect to make money by expecting events that are unlikely to occur.

There may be opportunities to trade this but it is taking for me, too long and has not performed as I had hoped and expected.

Rog, fwiw, if you are relying on marketing clever speak to help the SP then its pretty much built on sand and would not be sustained.

The market wants to know how this will be funded going forward until then we are all sitting on our hands.

It all should be revealed with the ML announcement (I think).

Until then.. ho hum, I guess....

Thanks D, maybe reading this from an independent source will make some realise that future based statements are really not worth the paper they are written on, or at least to not to put much weight on them in terms of expectations.

(And we all have first hand poor experience of this from this very company.)

I am sure they are, but that does not mean anything. It could be that it is AZ offering £5m.

The fact is the offer is below what AVCT are currently willing to accept. There is no guarantee that the offer will increase. (it might, but I can't believe you all, who have lived through RNS's from this company, take such a positive spin on a very ambiguous statement.)

Always remember, no company needs to be ambiguous, its always deliberate.

And if it was all going so swimmingly why is the SP not moving?

When was DX put up for sale? you really think for a bit of negotiation to seal the deal it would take this long?

Well, maybe you do, but it says to me, there is not the demand for these businesses that allows AVXT to be in the driving seat.

Your assumption of "indicative offers" of some weeks ago with no follow up simply means that there either have been no offers and its just a clever way to imply somethings going on, or the offers have been so low as to be currently unacceptable.

What evidence do you have for that?

If an offer had been accepted subject to DD it would have been announced.

(I said I was buying when the Sp was 102p back in the lft days on its rise to 285p. I said I was selling from when it fell back to 256p.)

I have in fact been more consistently accurate in my forecasting of events (and the SP) then I think maybe, anyone here.

But there is a conspiracy to have all my posts removed. How do you think that helps anyone?

Personally given the facts you have to wonder who is in fact trying to be helpful to other posters here and what their motovations are. (And not for nothing I highlighted Myles years back as perhaps, being at the time such a big shareholder of AVCT, that there was a conflict of interest in him hyping AVCT. (We later found out he trades AVCT)

because as you acknowledge by definition, this type of stock will cause doubt and uncertainty by its very nature, but BV is saying that that should never be highlighted because if it is, it is detestable.

And clearly everyone may be an adult here but they sure don't act their age, do they?

There you go, reasons why a bit of doubt and uncertainty might be a prudent course of action for all investors is deleted.

Its difficult to pick the very bottom and top. but as long as you have a plan and stick to it all things being equal you should carry on making money. (I find it not too hard. Its the patience that is the hardest thing for me. Waiting to get to my entry price and waiting to get to my target. :0))

That UT at 1.08p on the chart shows a break out, its fallen back today to close at .99 which in chart terms is testing the .98p support. so back in the trading range. Tomorrow will move the story on.....

Materially I am comfortably off, but I love and am loved, so i am very lucky which makes this a prettynice life for me.
