Folio, unless I am looking at the wrong chart, the last 6 months has been all over the place.

Currently we are getting close to over sold (RSI) which may temp some buyers but I don't see any indication of consolidation. Just sayin...

Ian, what you say is true and on that basis you would not touch this company with a barge pole, however, the reason it is still plying its trade is because some people think it will crack this very lucrative market.

Therefore as investors, we gamble with the info at our disposal to how likely we think that has of happening.

If you think it has zero chance then you don't buy. Its as simple as that.

You can't "prove" it won't crack its target market, just as investors can't "prove" it will.

As either outcome depends on being able to see into the future, neither party can likely convince the other of their view....

Ceesor, Its not the moderators.

The system works automatically so if enough "report it" it will disappear.

What I think may be happening here is that because I and DG and Touk have all contacted LSE about this I think that any deleted posts might red flag to the moderators and then they cast a human eye over it and then perhaps re-instate it.

Its only guesswork, but If I am right the person or persons that keep doing this gutless and pointless cancelling of free speech, are just creating tedious work for the moderators who I imagine have better things to do.

Therefore the market is the first group.

Normally the market buys in in front of likely results not behind it.

Certainly the reasons you give for not buying make sense when rattled off like that, but it also has to mean that those in the "know" are not scooping up this stock in the ways they should if it was all so obvious.

It is inconceivable after all this time that the market both retails and commercial are not acutely aware of what AVCt are doing, yet every result update depresses the SP.

Still, it may be as simple as you say and we are over egging the results thus far and the calmer amongst us (the market) are waiting for something more tangibly conclusive.

This is what we know:

DX up for sale to boost cash runway.

There have been more payments to loan.

There has been more data released confirming previous positive results.

There is now a pipeline of even more effective drugs that AVCT can use to target various cancers.

FDA OS to fast track this novel therapy.

FDA "can't believe the data"

Big Pharma are aware of AVCT

Except...Share price is close to all time low and more or less at placing price of earlier this year.

There is something missing.

is it just cash runway? There seems to be enough for this not to be depressing the SP in quite this manner?

Is it just waiting for the efficacy trial? Could be, but there have been good indications on efficacy already, so again shouldn't the SP reflect a stronger price than it is currently?

All I can think of are 2 reasons but please weigh in.

One, the trial to date is so small that BP simply while interested, can't possibly commit until much larger numbers show statistically more overwhelming results?

Two, the data (to date) is not actually as good as we think here and there is a lot more fine tunning to prove the concept for BP to make a move? (This is my best guess as FDA approval does not seem to have moved on and that in turn suggests they wanted more data from AVCT as there might be some ambiguity in the figures?)

It has to be something because the market is not as thick as mince and BP know all about AVCT and yet the SP is scrapping the floor. So what is missing?

Why can't we just admit that we haven't a clue what's going on.

The sell price on HL is above .13p. I would surmise that the amount of retail uptake is larger than the placing stock on offer meaning it is already over subscribed and therefore people will not get their desired allocation on Monday.

This has RI writ large I think.....

Nano, to draw firm conclusions you have to be sure of your reasoning.

what does that mean? It could mean, "we have had no offers but it is still up for sale". Is that likely? Well, its possible because it has not been sold yet. The very fact it is highlighted suggest it is reminding the market that it is available.

What indication do you have for the value of the DX divestment that it will clear the current loan?

This catch-all that it is traders that supress or continually move the SP is based on what exactly? What evidence do you have that that is the case? do you have level 2? What time frame do you think Traders deal in? if its short term what explains the long decline in the SP if it was just Traders. Do Traders ever buy stocks or just sell them? Do you have experience of Trading so as to understand what they do and why and what their motivations are?

Is it equally possible that long(er) term holders are seeing better returns elsewhere as there capital reduces here and no sign of a reasonable timeline for a turnaround?

Given the data released so far over 3 years plus, there must be a reason why no bid/deal has been done. What could it be? Is it reasonable that no one is aware what is going on?

Your conclusion is based on 6-12 months timeline but in that very short window where is the buying pressure? Why arn't people buying in now?

We really don't know anything about whats going on. And if that conclusion is correct then how can we predict wqith any degree of certainty what the outcomes will be?

My conclusion is It is a gamble, not an investment.

The SP has been falling ever since the trial started, so its not negative spin. its a fact.

That does not support your assumptions. Just putting your hands over your ears and going "La ,La, La" is not a recognised investment strategy.

Then explain watching, why the longer the trial goes on the lower the SP goes?

Every day brings the final result closer. So why isn't there a slow but steady push up on the SP rather than the reverse?

B2h, the assumption is that a bid will come in when everything is hunky dory.

A bid might come in if there is a delay, or bump in the road and cash will needed to it iron out and a bigger company takes a bit of a gamble and steps in.

Not saying this will happen but its the never ending, one0eyed view here that I feel needs to be tempered with other scenarios.

And again, before the normal responses are posted, what has been the actual history of this company?

To look at less wonderful outcomes with this company particularly, is in my book, prudent.

This allows imo better judgements of how much to invest. Each to their own.

Its been in a down trend for years.

How would you know if AVCT are in their best position for years? based on what?

Not the SP obviously, the single most important metric of investment success. The purchase of the DX business? So not their business acumen. The ability to fund further research other than dilution?

There are more shares in circulation than ever before, there is no timeline to any commercialisation. A safety trial has dragged on for years with still months to go and they still can't go to efficacy having to do a P2b trial. (why that should be necessary after the continued extension if P1a and 2wd is frankly beyond me if it was all so obvious how well it works)

Every time, every time the CEO opens their mouth the SP falls.

Are they in the "best position they have ever been in..."? I don't know, but I see precious little evidence that they are.
