an accurate stat is that the SP has fallen over 30% in the last 20 trading days. This with the news that has been released....

chart wise 40p is the 3 year low which has been visited twice. if that goes then its 25p but that was pre covid days so I don't think its relevant, so it will be a case of seeing what price action occurs. But there needs to be a reason to buy and right now the market if it thinks it has more chance of falling than going up, will wait.

(If you take into account dilution its already below 40p)

The psychological challenge for PI's here is, this has become like the lottery.

You have been doing it every week for years, spent all that money and now you think the day you stop will be the day your numbers come up.

However your rational side says stop and save the money and looks at how much money you would have had if you had never started.

So now many here say be patient and basically are relying on a "surprise" announcement to lift the SP. (Which may occur, but to date has not).

So a cool headed, rational investment decision is now dependent on an unforecastable event?

Reaper, we are all here for a successful outcome.

However, part of the equation is the time it takes to decide if the investment is producing good returns esp. for the risk taken.

Originally, AS said in2021 it had an expected 2 year timeframe to complete Phase 1 and 2 and subsequently due to it not being anew drug, a phase 3 trial would not be needed.

At the time he said this, no one here thought him a clown or inept at his job.

When, in this case, the trial continually runs longer than forecast it throws the original investment decision out of kilter.

The argument here from some is that it has been so spectacularly successful thus far that that accounts for the delays, and yet that does not accord with the market reaction or indeed to any MSM articles. (Only today there was a brief radio clip about Bowl Cancer and how Salmonella might be able to cure/limit/prevent it. The thing about most of these articles is how early they are in development, and yet AVCT to my knowledge has never been mentioned.)

So I can't speak for anyone else here, but I don't know whats going on in any meaningful investment-case way, I see fantastic RNS's yet the market ignores them. That is not how it works.

My best guess is that due to at least another 6 months before we hear about the trial there will be another couple of rounds of share payments which based on past performance will depress the SP and with no news to support it the odds (imo), are likely for further falls.

I have traded this stock when I thought a rise in the SP was more likely than a fall, but if you can't recognise the difference then you really have no understanding at all. (Plus the emoji's, to prove your point, (and it could be a generation thing) make you look about 12 years old.)

I have had an almost universal scepticism on this company since they missed their first time line in sept 2020 and that scepticism has increased with each missed or misleading statement.

Very occasionally as in the recent RNS about the pipeline, my enthusiasm gets re-ignited but then the market does not re-act and we get further news putting it potentially years away still.

As for no interest in AVCT nothing could be further from the truth. I am keenly interested in the company. Your never ending misjudgement of me and my motives on this company only highlight to me your total lack of understanding and analysis which I can only presume is due to a closed mind.

Given its been 2 years sinf Ods was given, is there not enough data yet to proceed more quickly? and if not why not? Have the FDA been in contact with AVCT and vice versa in that time ? and if so what was said?

When will you ever realise we know sweet FA was going on and have to rely on a company that has yet ever to deliver.

When it said "launch" I assumed that's when it would be coming to market. It also says phase 3 may start while phase 2 is underway, which means it may not..... Still apologies if I have misread it, my bad.

I find this inexplicable but was assured this was the case by this (well- researched) BB.

Looking at the slide deck i was not much clearer actually, accept orphan drug status seems to take years accelerated or not, and 2031/32 is mooted for the end of phase 3.

Who, here, would have bought in 2021 if AS had said 2031 is the likely date to complete the trial....(Not me for sure.)

Again, PI's should not criticise AIM, If its a loss making company then AIM is not for PI's, its for fund raising. And the funders get the opportunity usually to flip prior to inclusion to current stock, allowing them to make 10-20% so they can do the same thing again 18 months later.

Its actually a great system, funders make money for loss making companies, the companies keep getting money to play with, and the only mugs as it turns out, are the PI's.

I have said before the trick (for PI's) is to buy when its the last round of RI's. AVCT through their constant can-kicking have made this impossible to judge. (Hence the rumours of deals, JV's sales of DX Nasdaq et al, to keep the carrot dangling in front of our greedy eyes, and so intent have we been to focus on the carrot, we can't see how long the road ahead actually is... (imo, guesswork, Fud, BS, clown, whatever you feel is appropriate when looking at a 50p stock that was 185p (without Covid)

About what? That we won't hear about the size of the find and the way forward to extract it when the ML is announced, or with that info supplied it won't affect the SP?

Are we all broadly in agreement that we don't expect any trial updates until Q2?

I am sure you are correct Art, regarding the ML being factored in.

However what is missing is the actual scale of the find and the cost to exploit it and therefore the funding to do it.

I expect for that info to be revealed at the same time, and that will be the catalyst for the SP (good or bad) imo etc etc

you mean it took 3 times as long because it was so good and the sp reflected that by continually falling and then causing further dilution through a low placing, whici it is now even below that.
