Toc, its all subjective.
The whole point of buying a stock (on whatever criteria) is in the expectation it will rise.
Its a projection into the future. There is no right or wrong as no one can see into the future.
Its a crap shoot and if its a small market cap, loss making company then it is simply a long shot gamble.
Sometimes you get luck, mostly you don't.
I had the big fortune of buying at .21p and it 10 bagged within a week, why? because the market had priced in failure and as a fluke, based on previous experience, HE1 with one last throw of the dice, upped stumps and moved to a new drill site having not completed the previous one with various drill breakdowns and delays and struck Gold! (well helium).
Who saw any of that happening? It was desperate stuff, but HE1 got lucky (and so did I)
The stock shot up to over 2p. yet where is it now?
Its a crap shoot, pure and simple. don't get so over wrought in thinking that reading RNS's and "doing research gives you any sort of edge. Remember Minchin? did he tell it straight?) By the time you have the old info the market has already had it, digested it and the SP has reacted accordingly. And the longer view you take so the risk of alternative scenarios multiply reducing the chance of being correct.
Its a different conversation on say, Glencore Mining because of their scale and profits they already make but looking at the high risk tiddlers you seem to be interested in you have no idea whats going on behind the scenes and never have done (or will ever know).
But knock yourself out. If it works for you then great.
