so the despicable raise at 50p by AS which was a testament to his incompetence at such a low price back in Feb has resulted in now, after 8 months of great news RNS's, posters, trial updates, etc, of a SP 7p higher at 57p (I though I would do the maths for you as I am not sure numbers is really your thing, what with the £200 ex china.

If you are right then BP also must know this. Therefore why haven't they bought AVCT out? (They could wait, like Thorn, until the trial finishes whenever, and then pay multiples of what the SP is now. There is no benefit to BP waiting if they know it already works.

Therefore there must be still some question mark as to how successful or value it has based on the latest data. Is that reasonable?

Perhaps the data is not in sufficient quantity yet for a decision to be made regarding its likely overall efficacy? Maybe the fact that the efficacy trial hasn't even started yet that makes your assumption premature?

Its this unrelenting "one only view" allowed bias here including, outrageously, getting various posters views deleted that makes this simply the most pointless BB on LSE.

I explained how the market is likely looking at this to explain why a SP could fall on this news and its been deleted.

Jimmy, I was talking about what the value of DX might be and in fact what CC said without actually saying anything. My experience in those cases its wise to lower expectations. FWIW I am guessing we are in the ballpark of £9m-14m.

As for the new quote you supply again, due to the lack of specifics maybe its best also to be conservative with expectations at this stage.

Look at this way. AVCT are going to get rid of DX. Say the price is poor, then as you only have a TX company, you had better talk it up without saying anything, don't you think?

I know CC isn't AS, but look at what he said and what actually happened. The thing is AS, (as a CEO), was hardly unique in over stating what was going on.

I hope CC is not quite as bad, but you have to remember they don't really have a choice. They cannot be brutally honest if there are delays or bumps in the road.

Believe me, when its unequivocally good news with data to support it, they leave no doubt, they sing it from the rooftops. Has this happened yet?

Working with them to get the highest price. Thats easy, we don't accept their low offer and are trying to get a higher price.

We "expect further offers to come in" Again thats easy, CC HOPES a higher bid will come in from somewhere.

And yes, it is difficult to know how long this will take, as at the moment it looks to me to be an impasse.

So imo the offers are very low referenced to expectation/ price originally paid.

Remember we are selling a loss making ene=terprise and we don't know how much money it has sucked out to get to where it is or how much more it would take a new company to get a return on it.

I am not a day trader so I am not that bothered given my stop is in the high 40's with the latest trade I have which is up roughly 30% in 8 working days.

At the moment it is holding above 63/64pp but its a bit tight but if it does then its on to the mid 70's with the 64p ish becoming a support. Ok? Its what I said 10 days ago....

Paul, If you bother to actually read my posts you will see that I rarely forecast anything as I don't KNOW whats going to happen.

I base my expectations on the info available and the veracity of it, against what has actually happened in the past to get to a "most likely" outcome in my opinion.

Thats why I have never said it will fail, because I don't know if it will or won't. But the odds on this type of company are stacked against it succeeding, thats just a fact. However as more and more data is released so it it allows the company to proceed.

Given where we are (safety part of the trial with phase 2 and 3 still to go), there are still substantial hurdles to be overcome. Thats a fact.

Short term, its a trading thing and its easy to hold a long term view that can be different from a short term view.

It really isn't that complicated or hard to understand but I have been serially disappointed with the comms from this company and the what for me, was misleading info released. So, I think undersatnadably, treat with utmost caution what is said from AVCT.

However if AVCT should crack this commercially then the returns should be stella, But right now it looks still to a be a pretty big IF.

I care more about short term SP then many here, but that attention has allowed me to profit from this stock. Many here don't care if its 200p or 20p as long as it goes to 1000p (or whatever) a share. Each to his own

I was the one of the first if not the first to alert this BB that the LFT window was a short one and the delays were a potential problem. Then when the vaccines were announced I said the window was closing. Then there were millions of posts about how much we could charge for our test. I said that was unlikely against the low cost Chinese LFT's.

I said there was clearly a problem with our test due to the delays either through cost or actually working as well as we were told.

All of then against the same backdrop as today of insult after insult.

Regarding the Trial I said the AS/Paul Hill interviews were staged and not worth listening to. I said I did not trust AS based on all the delays on the trial. This too caused all sorts of insults aimed at me.

I said the delays would cause funding issues. Most here went apocalyptic about there was enough funding (back then until 2025). That was 2 rounds of funding ago.

Most recently after the abrupt removal of AS I would have liked to know why. That has not been forthcoming. I still have no idea when this will be commercialised. Now we are moving on to other war heads when it was always and only ever about dox as the new standard of care. is that still a thing?

As Thorn has pointed out: how is the pipeline to be financed?

I don't think there has been a great difference in coms and I think it is telling that the recent bout of news last month caused a fall in the SP as opposed to a rise. Thats perplexing.

Hopefully AVCT has turned a corner in the Trial and the released data now will soon be enough to propel the SP to new heights. However I have been disappointed with the reality against the expectation that AVCT themselves fuel, for years now, so forgive me for not being the Village Idiot and just grinning gormlessly every time AVCT is mentioned.

The lack of detail might suggest the customer did not want to be named due to a competitive advantage using CPX tech?

I think It can't be that small an order or it would not be worth doing from the customers pov.

So I think it likely be ok given it was RNS'd. The other plus is that any income is helpful when a company is trying to cross the line to trading profitability.

Price prediction through technicals is an odds game. No one can predict the future. I have stated that ad-infinitum.

My last post said what I though was most likely based on TA, It was that the SP would rise. (and it has) I said a resistance was at 63p and indeed it has shown to be the case. I always point out the reasoning behind why I see the cjhart the way
