Do we know if there are any other companies in UK ( other than Novacyt) producing Strep Group A LFTs ?

If Novocyt are the only ones then this could be worth £200M+ just in UK .

"A UKHSA statement said there were 851 cases of Group A Strep reported last week, compared to an average of 186 for the preceding years, almost four times as many as would normally be expected "

Clearly there is a need for testing all children presenting with fever coming into hospital . Novacyt have winterplex & Strep A Rapid LFT . A big contract on its way ?

Strep A infection continues to gain more publicity . There will come a stage the government will need a diagnostic test . Novacyt have the perfect test . A good £50M + contract for this will be great .

I am very confident with the portfolio of tests Novacyt have that they are mid cap in the making , patience is the key with this share.

Now that Streptococcus Group A is on the increase in UK and in the news , it therefore makes sense for the DHSC to buy up Novacyt rapid LFT for Streptococcus A .

PI100 did you write to James Wakefield / Mandy your great concerns and why you are so losing hope with this company. If you haven't, I suggest you spend your value time in writing to them instead of in here. Let us know your reply.

Can someone explain what this man's actual job is , what does he bring to the company and how much power does he have ?

I feel he is the one pulling the strings at Novacyt and dictating the direction the company is heading in its strategy.

The Novacyt board and DHSC should get around the table and thrash out an agreement . The DHSC need a test for flu and can come to an agreement with Novacyt to provide the winterplex for £100-500M and take into account the dispute . Job done , end of dispute , finish , happy days again .
