Most investors in Novacyt need the SP to be at least £4 to break even . Myself , i need £6 to break even . So we are looking long term in Novacyt growing into a mid cap company , and investing their money wisely on M&A to pump that SP well above £4.

If the BOD were ultra focused and dynamic in their business strategy they would be sending their top sales people into China and getting some big orders through for Q32/Q16 / Saliva LFT, which would be perfect for them to contain the virus . I dont know if china have developed the covid-19 saliva LFT , but we certainly have , and that could be sold . This could and should have been a big contract win in China .

pck76 , James Wakefield definitely needs to go . We need a dymamic CEO , chairman and BOD.... the whole lot needs replacing . We need people in there with business experience in molecular diagnostics industry .

crl123 the fact is this is a 95% drop of SP from January 2021 which is suggesting that the company is on its knees and going bust. Do companies really lose this much of their share value in 2 years who are debt free ? But the company has £96.6M in cash and should win the DHSC dispute and generate another £85M to its cash windfall. If Graham Mullis has really screwed up the terms of the contract with DHSC , and we lose the case , then we are scr@wed . Mullis then should return the £10M back to Novacyt and should never have received his LTIP. The market is thinking Mullis has scr@wed up the contract and we are going to lose the DHSC or the BOD are not protecting shareholders deliberately because they are either wanting to go private or been taken over at low price.

TaTA MD continue to promote Novacyt products but exactly how much revenue are we getting from this deal ?

3. The company want to remain a penny stock company , have no ambitions of becoming anything bigger and the BOD happy to take the huge salaries & bonuses.

As the SP has dropped 95% from its high and most share holders are basically seeing all their money lost from investment here , the question is why are the BOD not protecting and safeguarding share holders / share price ?

What is the BOD agenda ?

1. Is James Wakefield looking to make this company private ?
2. Has James Wakefield agreed to a low price take over / Merger.

Something is not right with this company as the PR is absolutely appalling since May 2021

PI100 could you forward that narrative to Mandy and the Novacyt board of directors and ask them if they could back up what they have put up on their website regarding 1&2 below . The SP is 95% down from its highest in 2021 .

Kamakiraid , if you had sold your 40,000 shares at £12.50 , you could have bought yourself a lovely £500K property now.
We were all fooled my friend , and it was Graham Mullis who fooled me as he told us in one of his interviews that he was planning to build Novacyt into a mid cap company and he hyped up the share in October / November 2020 . But , all a long what he was doing was actually ramping up the share price to achieve his LTIP and collect his £10M and the expense of us share holders .

Its been a constant downward trend with this SP ever since GM announced his destructive RNS Friday , 9th April 2021 @ 12:30pm .

There appears no efforts made by the BOD to protect shareholder value . 19 months of slow gradual constant decline of shareholder value and poor business strategy and incompetence offered by BOD . Time wasted whilst GM waited to be removed from his CEO position on October 18th 2021 and then appointing David Allmond was just further loss of time and no real direction offered by him but just fake business words to fool everyone .

I just feel totally gutted at the moment with this .

crl123 i agree with you . My thinking is James Wakefield is behind something . Is he not part of a hedge company that buys up companies that crash in share price ?

Its interesting to know that Graham Mullis still actively clicking on likes for Novacyt on linkedin . But David Allmond has vanished without trace with his word salad bulsh*t . GM does still have £500K invested in Novacyt i think ( but we will never know for sure ) .

I mean merger more likely than complete takeover I think. So if we merge with another company this should pump up the SP significantly depending on the size of merging company.

Hi Kaeren , my thinking is JM is just keeping the CEO chair warm for the incoming takeover .

In China there is a lockdown currently due to new covid-19 variants. I suspect this will wave across to Europe , Asain subcontinents and America as travel is not restricted now . Novacyt need to be ready for any new outbreaks of covid-19 and win big contracts. So far in UK we have not had the surge of covid-19 or other respiratory viruses this winter , which would really collapse the NHS services even further.
