What did David Allmond actually bring to the table and offer Novacyt over last 12 months ? What a bloody waste of 13 months and the 10 months of Graham Mullis once he got his £10M bonus from LTIP . The person who needs shooting is the one who head hunted Allmond and appointed him as CEO and the ridiculous LTIP set up for Mullis.

Who we need now is someone from a big molecular diagnostic industry with huge contact base for new business sales and M&A . We need someone who can take Novacyt by the neck and transform it into a mid cap business .

PI100 , what you should do is this , and i think you should really consider it , write your concerns and your worries about Novacyt to Mandy and the CEO . Can you you post a copy as well on here so we get to read what you have written . Let us know what they write back . I am intrigued to know what you have written and what Novacyt write back if they do .

So Almmond just under 13 months in as CEO of Novacyt , can someone tell me how much did he take away in bonuses and salary for his 13 months dismal display and trashing of share price ?

My thoughts are James Wakefield has a plan to either take this company private or to sell it off cheaply , and DA did not like it and jumped ship.

The good news is we still have £96.4 M and gaining 5-8% interest on it

I was hoping James Wakefield can follow Allmond out of the door and someone with experience in molecular diagnostics comes in.

If i was CEO of Novacyt , i would not be happy or be putting a like to LinkedIn on one of my staff on a transatlantic mission , and putting up photos up of scenic areas and a pint of beer/ lager in some bar . What he should be doing is being more professional and showing photos of him meeting key distributers etc or attending meetings that demonstrate Novacyt are there in America to create business . Its just too amateurish from Novacyt .

Looks like a holiday time for this chap . Wonder what deals he has actually closed or done to bring in revenue.

NHS hospital labs would be using instruments to tests for resp viral infections but i am not privy to that information as i don't work in hospitals in A&E or in the pathology labs .

General Practitioners don't test for C-19 / RSV / Influenza in NHS (UK) primary care . However in private sector some do but they send the tests off . Abroad in mainland Europe , GPs are doing these tests because they get paid for each test by patient.

Whats left now are the pro & self test saliva LFT rapid antigen tests to be on CTDA . How long will this take ?

I think we need to wait 24 months more before we see signs of BOD supporting the SP . The LTIP matures December 2024 . Until then i suspect its going to be secrecy and very little news . Patience is the game with this . I dont like it , but we have no other choice , if you have got your money in Novacyt , you are now firmly locked in unless you want to lose your money by selling up.

This is where Novocyt need to win some big contracts now. The Saliva LFT would be perfect for quick simple tests.
