RE: Share Like this2 Aug 2022 20:42
"Not the best for the original investors". That's an understatement and a half! This share would need to 20-bag for IPO investors to even get their money back. In the last month alone, the share has declined 80%...
I didn't invest at or near the IPO, but I did buy a few about a year ago at 151p... so, a shocker, no other words.
Actually I don't blame myself for that original purchase, but I've had plenty of opportunity over the past few months to read the signs, accept the mistake and sell at a loss... and I'm kicking myself for not doing that. I kept saying to myself "yeah but how low can it go from here?". The answer was a lot lower of course.
In terms of learning lessons, the tendency after this type of experience is one becomes over-cautious and unable to take advantage of the good risk propositions going forward... it's a tricky business this investing!
Gotta say, I'm more inclined to hand my money to a professional investor after my experiences of 2022, not just with MADE.
Only saving grace is at least I complied with investing lesson number 1 and didn't place too many eggs in the MADE basket.
