Good point about the asos chart. It's very similar, isn't it? Makes me more hopeful - maybe there isn't some specific Boohoo gremlin about to be revealed then. Maybe management are confident that the company is operating well within cash and liquidity constraints, indeed confident enough to make a small purchase of REVB stock. If that's true then 46p does look exceptionally cheap.

I can understand why you pose the question. I mean, the stock is down 25% in just a week (!!)... on no specific news other than the REVB buy. Of course that sort of drop makes you wonder if the market knows something you don't...
The big feature of the past 7 days has been this relentless ramping up of horror stories relating to the forthcoming 'catastrophic' winter in the news. I'm not downplaying it, of course it will be a nasty period, but if they keep pushing this narrative and working it into our collective psychology, it just exaggerates the negative reaction.
If this 25% drop in a week is the market saying that the cost of living crisis is going to cripple Boohoo, then I don't get it - not with what Boohoo sells and not with the self-help the company is doing.
But it's like a wall of money leaving UK stocks - you can't fight it.

Of course it wasn't such a tiny company until recently - salaries yet to catch up.
It'll be interesting to see if they tap the market with another equity raise. I remember the term 'lifestyle company' being used by a poster some time ago.

More generally, almost none of my shares can catch a sustained updraught, it all comes back down again sharpish.

A Mr Clemens Buss has snapped up 3% of the company. Threshold crossed on 4/7/22, but notified to market only on 19/8/22. That's quite a delay!
Google says Mr Buss is an investment banker...

I don't think I know as much as you about the ways of shorters and their dark arts, but I've often read that they undertake deeper research into their targets than do long-only investors because they could be liable for big losses if it went badly wrong. Those articles suggest shorters are a needed part of the 'price discovery' mechanism.
You make some plausible points though and you've touched a nerve. I own a lot of AIM stocks (too many!) and I've observed some fairly 'iffy' behaviour from some of them - especially with the RNSs. Tbh, my view of the quality of the AIM market has been shaken a bit recently ... but if I really end up believing that a given market is rigged, well, I think I'd get out entirely and permanently - why would I or anyone want to 'play' in a rigged market? It's hard enough already.
