Share price has dropped a bit. Reckon it has less to do with people losing faith in a takeover and more to do with folk using their holding as an atm, as they seek out the many bargains which are around today.

Am I right in thinking this?
Amid all the negativity today, I'm thinking the Results update wasn't so bad at all... and that this could be a good price for a first-time purchaser. Anyway, I'm in for the ride - 333p paid.

I would just observe that this wasn't meant to be a Trading Update - one can only hope they are making progress behind the scenes, which we will hear about soon enough. On the other hand, if they'd achieved some major 'wins', they would probably RNS it... and they haven't.
The irony of them conducting 'fireside chats' while the company hemorrhages cash and value is not lost on me either. Worrying times.

Correction: it's not necessarily a leak, it's 'press speculation' we're told.

Hard not to notice that the share price has been on a steep ascent from first thing yesterday morning, but the Statement only got released at 17.10 today.... That's two full days grace if you're lucky enough to be on the inside!

Hmm... am I right in thinking Dunn owns 10% of the company? What's his intention with those shares? Will we have a stock overhang situation to add to our worries?

You're so right there - I check the price of this micro cap almost daily, I probably shouldn't, lol!

Shares have had many bad days without a specific reason lately, so let's just enjoy the ride and not ask too many questions! lol

That's one view. What you fail to mention is that the share price was well over 60p just a few months before that.
Key reason for the increased debt is the investment in automation, which should put the business in good stead going forward.
I remember watching the last management presentation and they came across as knowledgeable and level-headed. I shall be watching this one.
Anyway, market seems to disagree with me so what do I know? I do know that I won't be selling down at these levels - I'm happy to hold.

D4t4 announces the release of Celebrus CX Vault, the world's first No-party, No-cookie technology.

The company has released some good sounding new tech and the share price drops 3.5% - now at 12-month lows. I don't get it. What does the company have to do to get the share price moving? Is it still too richly valued? Doesn't look that way to me...

These results read well to me - better than I was expecting given the energy crisis, but it seems they are managing to successfully pass on price rises to their customers. I wasn't aware that they have put in place index-linked pricing agreements we with their customers over the last 12 months - that's v good.
Not much a reaction from the markets though.... what more does a company have to do these days to get an even break??

Handy little 6% rise for GBG on what is otherwise a dismal day for UK stocks.
Can't see a specific reason but am not complaining.

Sadly, a very long think in the case of Wizz, which is down another 8% so far today...
Guess the airlines react opposite to energy prices... and those have spiked up today on news of the continued shutting of nordstream1. Thing is though, IAG & EZJ have only dropped a half of what WIZZ has today.

I'm with you on this one Agricore.
I had dipped my toe in the water with a 'quarter position' at 86p just 3 weeks ago, thinking I'd then just watch and wait. However, the share price kept dropping fast, so... I kept adding... with another 'quarter position' at 79p and another today at 72p... So, I've already built up three quarters of a full position in this Trust and I've done it much more rapidly than I expected.
No doubt my initial coyness towards CHRY was in part due to my bad experiences with SUPP (now at all-time lows, but still holding!)... but I'm managing to rationalise all of that now and am feel increasingly comfortable about CHRY's prospects.

I note that RCH is now yielding 10%. Usually when the yield gets up to these levels because of a big drop in the share price, management cuts it soon enough.
And yet, in the recent half-year report (released 26/07/22), Jim Mullen said "the strength of our balance sheet and cash generation underpin both a growing dividend and continued investment..."
Should we believe him? Is the divi safe?
And, by the way, isn't such a statement like a red rag to a bull to striking print workers?
