Shame about the negative sentiment from Deutsche Bank .. especially as many analysts were predicting 80p target as recently as February .. although I suspect Greece has had something to do with that .... I think I will top up again tomorrow with suggest bullish signals ... especially if we see any market weakness during a "Grexit Friday sell off"

What worried me most about the drop was that 888 and BPTY.WIN are also hit by the Spanish tax grab but their share price held up much better ..... I'm here for the long term anyway ..... and pleased to know, from a TA perspective, that we have support around 24p.

Hi Buzle, Not great news today although good old BPTY.WIN also settled a 33million Euro tax bill to gain their Spanish licence .... so I anticipate that SBT will pay their tax bill to do the same .... I've bought some more SBT today .... on the dip .... hope that was the right decision? Time will tell!

What absolute tosh ....... this is a good company ... with a good business model ... and is well funded. Before the Spanish tax issue ..... announced today ... this sp was holding up really well at around 32pence as the FTSE was plummeting around it ....... and Europe for that matter as well! Well diversified businesses that are well funded are not JUNK! If you are going to post such rubbish .... you should back it up with charts / analysis / press release rather than just coming onto the discussion board to try and de-ramp the stock.

So ... shareholders are now betting with sportingbet ...... do we sell in fear that we will go bust trying to settle the tax liability in Spain ... or do we buy ...... because there is no liability to settle! No wonder the share price has dropped over the last week from 32p to 24p this morning ....... Time to sit tight .... I guess!

I agree that we have had a 3 month downtrend .... that was preceded by .... a 3 month uptrend ..... which was ended when we announced pretty poor results (a loss I seem to recall) at the end of February. We fell back through 36p support .... and it looks like we are heading for a re-test of the 52 week low that occured just before the start of the previous uptrend ..... in November 2011 ..... So ... maybe after the back test of the 52 week low ... we will start rising again over the next few months ... and some better results would help the cause as well.

I guess ex-div on 9th May took 0.6p of the share price ....... and I guess the Greeks are causing the rest of the problem as this stock is very sensitive to what goes on in Europe .... when Greece and Spain and Italy are fixed ... we should fly ... in the meanwhile ... sit tight or top up if you can afford it!

If this business does not change ... and change quickly ... then I see another Woolworth moment as the whole business goes "BANG". Why would you visit Argos stores and shop with an old fashioned 1970's style catlogue when you can go to Amazon (and a million other retailers) online .... and click and buy. The cost of having a Bricks and Mortar presence is killing this business. You can't even see the majority of the products in the Argos stores before you buy them ... so what on earth is the point of keeping all that infrastructure and cost .... it will kill us ...... for sure! Unless this business starts taking a radical knife to the Argos store network ... we are seriously seriously doomed. If this business refuses to change ... we are doomed ... doomed ... doomed ..... ! What's happening on Thursday then?

The reason I invested was because the future of on-line gambling must move to the mobile phone ... and SBT are already playing in this area and I seem to recall mobile gaming revenues were up 400% in the last set of results. I like the idea they might get taken over by one of the "big boy bookmakers" ..... but also like the fact that they aren't just sitting still waiting for a bid approach ... but are growing the worldwide business in regulated markets. I will be topping up in the 33p area - thanks for the TA Buzle - and plan to hold for medium long term. I also like the fact they sponsored The Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival .... and it's nice to own some stock in a bookmaker (as I have given them so much of my income over the years). Hi Buzle - are you still in this stock? We seem to be sinking back towards 30p now and British Bulls have a sell rating on this .... any idea why ..... any idea how far it will sink / where support levels are? It bounced off around 32p last time - I think. Anyone else got any thoughts ........ GLA
