You watch the sp spike like 15p in a couple of days now for no apparent reason as they try and grab some stock back. £870k is some punt and we haven’t had any TR1s from our instis for ages now. BRs holding has increased due to financial instruments, so hedged stock. They are balls deep here so probably covering their position as best they can.

I am out at the moment, more due to good fortune than any prescience but looking to get back in. What doesn’t sit well for now is the time taken to do the review. It seems rather short for size of business. I think they had already started and hence the 30-40m finger in their air. I just don’t know if the sp has priced in worse case yet so will get a lift once detail is out or if it’s closer to 40m it will tank again. They have basically said they may incur costs on contracts so I assume that means completely pulling out of non profitable low margin work. That could cost GT down stream with ppp credibility. Still too many unknowns atm and if it’s houses you want BDEV looks a better bet. Hi mcb, I get that but for Trek it’s been lack of plan B that’s causing anx. We get the difficulties in Nigeria, we had been telegraphed election dates, we knew RTO would not be as straightforward. Where am I going well, imo there is a plan b we (PIs) have just not been told. I just don’t see 28p being funded on a nod and a wink or for that matter the earlier 35p raise without a fallback. Gotta be a fallback position here that underpins the SP, the market is searching for it now. It’s one without RTO and atm 22p seems to be floor but only coz there is still a massive upside chance from there. Getting squeaky now coz if you say we’re worth x without RTO peeps form an opinion that there will be no rto. Say nothing and we loose cred (any we had) and sp drifts ever lower. I think our institutional investors have been given, and obviously calculated an intrinsic value for savp without RTO and it fits their respective risk profiles. Don’t mean to say it won’t go TU it just means there is an exit point here below 22p. Or an entry point at 22p fk me such is SAVP. Guess, mystery and enigma comes to mind. Winston Trek,

Don’t believe what I am seeing on lse, lots of sells which do not at this juncture make sense. I have checked through the London stock exchange site and most of the trades are ordinary, order driven. There are also no declared short positions on the short tracker site, which wouldn’t be a concern after a fund raise. As I posted before my buy at 79p came up as a sell, I assumed at that time it was because the spread was pushed out so that buys looked like sells and indeed it may be the case but one can never be sure. One could argue that trades are trades and volume is key, I agree to a certain extent and it’s the operational agenda that ultimately drives the sp. True but when one is timing top ups you try to get as good a price as possible and I think that is now. Close to the placing price and just far enough ahead of news and although TA is not my specialty the indicators are bullish. Trek convinced myself, I will be adding more. Now for a quiet weekend.

Minor delay = opportunity for some. I have read RNS several times now and could sell and move money elsewhere, take on dealing costs and assume the next high risk venture will be successful or I can wait and should the sp go below my average add more. Trek come on hurry up and decide. Think i’ll do nothing for now.

I agree and have added. Looking at tea leaves, Jayesh our new CFO is doing a webcast with the results. He’s keen to sell the news. We have had deals with Rutgers, C4X as well as the results from Dharmacon to now hit the bottom line. CRISPR has been in the news lately and seems to be the go to gene editing tool. Put Abcam in the mix, reading their finals they are looking to be more accretive as they are not growing fast enough organically and they now have more cash should they wish to come back to Hzd which imo would be after the finals.

Looking at our guidance it’s no wonder Jayesh wants to grab the limelight.....if we exceed these numbers 200 will be blown away and ABC will need to get a wiggle on if the want us.

I hold VRS and DCTA and as a holder of two early stage disruptive technology stocks. It is healthy to be aware of what each other is doing in the same space. You could also look at the SAR board for example in biotechs.

If you don’t like it report away, but you may find you would be setting a precedent for closing the whole LSE BB site down. Ironically I discovered Directa from a VRS board tip, I also picked up on HUR from SAVP and ECO from a Malcy blurb on another site.

Last fund raise was via primary bid (as were previous) back in September for 145p. Those with concerns should read Neil’s words re existing investors. No way I believe any future placing against these prevailing market forces would be less than 145p. A RI would be my preference, albeit more expensive, but it gives equitable chance for existing holders but then the smart money would be buying now sub 145. But ten the options are many. Could be a RI but not decided. May just allow China to pick up on open market or do a placing which could be at a high price so Chinese in effect underwrite it. Could also be major holders handing over stock to ease 15%. All speculation as lots of options but would mean Vrs has no cash worries for its exponential growth phase and its clear NR has existing shareholders prioritised. Peeps will have differing views but remember Microsoft and Apple raised a few bob on the way and those that were in early (this is still early) did very well according to the charts. Trek
