VANCOUVER -- Africa Oil Corp. has announced that it had acquired 4,752,850 common shares of Eco (Atlantic) Oil and Gas Ltd. $1.05 per common share for a total consideration of $4,999,998. The common shares were acquired by Africa Oil on a non-brokered private placement basis and, together with the 29,200,000 common shares of Eco held by the Company prior to the acquisition, represent approximately 18.8% of Eco's issued and outstanding share capital. Africa Oil acquired the common shares for investment purposes and does not currently have the intention of exercising control or direction over Eco. Africa Oil will review its holdings from time to time and may continue to acquire and/or dispose of additional securities of Eco according to market conditions and other relevant factors in the future.

(Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell has agreed to sell its stake in the Caesar-Tonga field in the Gulf of Mexico for $965 million in cash to a subsidiary of Israel's Delek Group.

Company unit Shell Offshore will sell its 22.45 percent non-operated interest in a deal likely to close by the end of the third-quarter of 2019, Shell said in a statement.

Look at volumes, Capital may well still be selling hence the pull back and the muted rise. When (if) they clear then the float is out of play and any further pull back will be dependent on other trading patterns like profit points, new sellers stepping in. This of course excludes any news than may come into play and is looking merely from a buying and selling volume perspective. Atm orders are relatively matched. That could change when Capital are out and the stock may (excluding news) re rate significantly. Trek.

Looks like Capital group want out. They have be liquidating other positions as well. The last RNS shows their hand. If you had been willing to sell at 19p wouldn’t you be happy to offload the rest at 22-25p. Cats out of the bag. The answer is under our noses. Oh well. Trek, I’ve had some more.

Well whilst off topic, consider ECO. A different play. They have just successfully got an oversubscribed placing away and have some serious cash on the books for high impact drills in Namibia and Guyana. The (potential) first with a Cos of around 45% next to a neighbouring producing block. Obviously DYOR as there’s much more to discover but I have been tempted to flip from here and add to ECO while the sp is near the placing price. Sounds familiar. Trek, sat on my hands for now.

So our seller is nearly out SP rises, shorts stopped out, SP rises again, PIs rush to add to ISA SP rises again, it’s called contagion. Why Capital sold, possibly a change of risk profile who knows but I doubt it’s news related as sxx have a pretty tight ship. Enjoy the long overdue rerate, no need for any further explanation. The other point is it’s turning into a bit of a trading stock with this vix. Timing of results was well broadcast and the sell on news traders panicked or banked a small gain. Been a buy at 15/16 sell at 19/20 stock for those with the wherewithal to stomach such risks for a few hundred quid (I mean that contextually). Trek buy the dips and hold.

See that another buy has gone through at 2.5 for 75k yet the ask is showing 2.4. Google now showing 2.6, up 10%. I just wonder if our seller, Ruffer, has cleared what they want or someone else is taking up stock. SP does seem to indicate not much of a float out there atm. Well done to those that got some at 2.3. I was waiting thinking 2 may be tested and will add again later as I like to buy in tranches to try and balance out the anomalies of AIM but hopefully that was the bottom now. Trek
