Hi selling shares has a similar impact to a placing. One is dilution by asset sale the other by increasing stock. As for a loan very unlikely as there is little low risk collateral to secure it so any interest rate would be sky high. What we need is the assets (holdings) to appreciate significantly so any sale is less dilutive. Another option is a dividend or special dividend. This conundrum is why the sp is so linked to crypto etc. Should ARB hand back cash that could help or a takeover but I am no longer comfortable here and have sold as the model only works if the investments take off exponentially and a top slice can be used to cover opex until they can cash out and return money to shareholders. Still the bod are having a good time with their expenses and nice stationery. Trek out, spending it on few pints and a takeaway and topping up elsewhere with the residue.

Then you got the traders that get most of the above right...yeah!

I guess the trick is to have lots of LGEN types and enough ordinance to make a difference one way but not the other.

It’s not the investments that I worry about here it’s the cash burn esp admin cost. Looking at last accounts we should now have little cash left if the same glidepath is followed. Does that mean selling equity, placing or loan? No idea. Any views. Trek

Look at trades and SP, buys sending price down and sells pushing price up. It’s indicative of an illiquid stock. Mm has to keep price range bound to keep orderly market else it will just sit in auction, Dcta are traded on setsqx. If we get volume here price could spike significantly either way. For me it’s the fundamentals that are important at this juncture and Patrick Soon-Shiong buying 20% of Dcta and then we get an RNS about road testing in USA. Patrick owns Nant an environmental disruptive tech company and we happen to have Ecopave that if proves to work in USA as it did in Rome will need mass production and millions in funding. Mmm deep pockets like Nant! Not to mention apparel and grafysorber. I just don’t get why others can’t see this. Why would a billionaire invest, doh! Trek, eyes open!

Right, having been investing on AIM for now over 15years one thing I have learnt is follow the money. It didnt always work out because I never really found serious money to follow. This time Babbler2 we did, mega bucks, a billionaire, and a smart cookie. I was also lucky at VRS at 13p. So I used that as a precedent for DCTA. Just look at the two market caps. That and a quiet BB and this time I followed my nose. Sooo pleased. I even had a massive top slice here at 70p, will probably regret that now but I did same a VRS for free carry. Not selling anymore here now. What I got left is the core holding and I will now add going forward buying dips in the months ahead when folk get impatient. Trek, a cunning plan.
