If this is met or exceeded we should see a rerate. Imo the current sp malaise is due to our two institutional investors reviewing their positions here. I agree that Abcam will revisit as it’s a good fit and they need to be accretive to achieve their growth objectives but I don’t think HZD is as soft a target as people think. It has a good BoD and is delivering. It is surprising at how often a stock drops ahead of a bid. Much better focus on financial performance. Still the concerns around the rate of cash burn and operating costs. Imo they will need another raise. Question from the sidelines is do you take a position ahead or after. So far the placings have been discounted and the sp drops below the placing price. Once in if the guidance is right 2021 will for me be a good investment window and even with dilution GFIN should do well. Especially if they get a partner which I still don’t rule out. Nice, min €800000, this is good branding. People will eventually view the G+ label like they do Gortex on shoes but it’s newer technology. Loro Piana is a niche brand that will attract prestigious customers so there may be other spin offs. All moving in the right direction and 3yrs is a good vote of confidence from Loro Piana. I wouldn’t be surprised to see us approach a £100m MCAP as Mr Market re-attributes value for our assets ahead of a potential deal. Value for seismics, license retention and the EIA work will become tangible ahead of a deal. A bonus here is a SP of just below 7p puts us in the range for some institutional micro-cap investors who may decide to take a position. That’s just a 100% rise from where we are. Totally possible on AIM. Look at ECO, (I am invested there) £120m, no oil but some v good deals but not 100% owned. Not quite apples but 100% up since December as the market attributes value ahead of drilling, and I believe that one has further to go. We will see a much more bullish pattern here ahead of farmin and even more so thereafter as the market will be able to attribute value based on recognised fundamentals and that’s before a drill. What’s surprising is Trek is having a good day today. SAR flying, ECO (I have decent size holding there) is on the up again and also MATD is looking like breaking out. I have low average there. Hi pete1978, I don’t think the RNS was predictable. BPC are probably in a close period due to NDA. I believe they took the opportunity to update the market accordingly. Basically we’re not playing golf and at long last peeps have had a serious follow up to the dataroom. There is the key ‘yet’ they could easily have just put it off as rumours and no reason for sp rise but they didn’t. They basically confirmed that negotiations are progressing. Not a tangible data point but a confirmation that interest is still there on several fronts. Trek between the lines, now where’s the train!
