Just re read my post from the train. £450K, K! K Basil! K! Not sure anyone here remembers ‘flowery******’. Trek, humouring oneself, relaxed by the numbers.

No surprises, don’t under estimate that on AIM. £4.2m in revenue in line with guidance but includes regulatory costs and higher than expected marketing and research costs. But out turned on £450 negative on ebitda. I would expect that to be positive on the next update based on MSL synergies alone. I would like to see more detail on revenue by product and region, if not now as volumes increase. There is probably a small amount of currency tail wind in there, hence a regional breakdown will help investors understand that later. For now though plenty of cash post acquisition and investment means we don’t defo do need money for opex and there is more to come from cost savings even if revenue stands still, which it won’t. Some clever product placements and competitors throwing in the towel or coming to us for white label products should show some decent upside. Trek, hopefully in at the bottom of the hockey stick curve.

I sold just over half my holding at 22p ahead of finance. I have now taken up my rights on ii and requested 6x additional shares. Not sure if I will get them but we’ll see. Personal view is most PIs will take up their rights even if sp dips a little at least there’s no spread and the purgatory of timing google finance for the day’s best price! At least the OO is the same price for the insti’s that will no doubt gobble up what’s left. Would even surprise me to see our seller back buying! Trek through rose tinted glasses with a squint!

Thanks, just a bit of profit taking imo after this week’s rise. Sp has kept recovering eod though and then after a few days we get to see v large buys £1m or more. Someone is happy to have these as they’re flushed out. I’m holding as I think 220 is back on in a few weeks and I can’t think of anywhere else to park money for a short term rise. Will move it later if no news probably to ECO. Trek. Timing is everything.

Well that’s another cluster buy 950k shares. Explains why the sp kept rising on results even though there were significantly more sells than buys. Check my earlier post. I have been following the trades here for a while now and whilst buy sell is indicative this is the first TR1 free volume of cluster buys I have noted. Trek. Game on! Looks like the numbers are starting to sink in together with the outlook. Trek, ahead of the curve.

P/E is still showing negative here as based on loss. With £65m MCAP this should rerate significantly and in the blink of an eye once earnings come through. This is why trading updates are important. If SOH can show £2m, then £4m and eventually one hopes £10m in earnings the sp will go through the roof. Due to the confidentiality agreements and unknown revenue guidance we don’t as yet fit the traditional model so the BoD needs imo to adapt. We can stick with the minimal guidance but periodically tell shareholders how much revenue we have generated on a quarterly basis without revealing the source. This can later be broken down by region and product mix as volumes pick up so the partners confidentiality is still protected without having to name them. The market can then guage an earnings glidepath which will factor into the sp. This imo is the year to do that. Trek on comms

Well imo this was always a short on finance and long on ops project . Finance is now all but sorted then it's time to close the shorts and go long. Trek, on hindsight.

Risky I am on the same page as you and will flip some of my holdings from HZD into here once they finish their run. Both had results out today, both companies are disruptive biotechs with a unique economic moat but i still get the old adage ringing in my ears. The market can stay irrational longer than one can stay solvent. Clearly feels like that here, but it’ll give. Trek on solvent abuse.

I think it will climb above £2 again but like I said the news needs to be absorbed. There seems to be a buyer in the background grabbing all the small sells which is why the SP isn’t moving.

Reading the outlook it looks very positive for HZD. They are dominant in a market with a high barrier to entry and have already signed 2 x £1 million contracts. They got very good supplier customer relations and are delivering a niche need. This is a classic ‘ economic moat stock’ and if you want access to their products and customers you have to buy it. Starting from scratch against a disruptive biotech like this is too expensive and too risky as there is no guarantee you will peel customers away. Abcam have money and have declared their accretive intentions. Time will be against them soon as others will see what we see. Following the results, director buys and cash position this is probably one of the safest risk reward plays to park your money on AIM. Warren Trek, lol!

Well they have turned ebitda around to a positive £700k thanks to a massive increase in revenue. The Dharmacon acquisition has proven to be a fantastic move and will help HZD focus on their higher margin product mix. The outlook is sound and they have lots of cash. I think HZD should look for another acquisition this year less they be swallowed themselves. These numbers will imo really excite abc but they’ll have to pay for it. As for the open, probably a muted response as the market digests and then we’ll climb over £2 as our buyer continues to add. Trek but wtfdik

Well the outlook against such a low funded cost base is staggering. Don’t just read the highlights read the whole report. The new board appts solidify what is a complete transformation for the company and I believe this is the year of the rerate. I just hope they keep us posted with regular trading updates so investors can see what is hitting the bottom line even without naming clients for obvious commercial reasons. As for the market reaction this could be the first blue day following news but it matters not as I will be here at least another year and add as funds are available. Trek well done Opti!
