Great update from Cathal & Aiden in tonights Investor Meet presentation covering today's RNS. Very positive, GLA
Cathal puts his money where his mouth is. A good reason to buy shares in EGT - Cathal has effectively done the research and knows the sector is set to deliver significant growth. The EGT coverage is the third stock on this podcast

Cheap option, you've got to be in it to win it, and this cost less than 15mts of copper at today's prices, with plenty of price upside expected. Obviously very little is know on the CAPEX, OPEX or expected Ciu recovery, but that's the point of rhe extended DD period. 12 months is a significant time period for exclusivity.
European Green Transition (AIM:EGT) has signed an exclusive option agreement to acquire a copper tailings recycling project at Limni in Cyprus.
The Limni Project perfectly fits their aim to pursue what they believe are high quality opportunities where they can potentially generate near term cash flow efficiently. They have seen a strong interest in copper with increased M&A activity, particularly in the London market. In light of shortages and rising prices for the metal, they believe this project is well placed to benefit from Europe’s green energy transition.
In addition to the copper tailings recycling project, there looks an excellent opportunity to develop a second revenue stream at the site by developing a solar power facility there. Around 80% of Cyprus’ energy supply is currently based on fossil fuels, providing an opening to develop and operate a domestic, renewable energy source, and with the high level of solar radiation across Cyprus, a solar project is a perfect fit. It is EGT’s intention that the funding of any such facility would be funded entirely by an existing solar power provider with the potential for EGT to receive an annual long-term revenue stream from the solar power operator.
This is very exciting news for EGT, and it is an example of the company’s strategy in action, broadening focus and expanding their scope to access green economy projects in Europe. The Limni Project perfectly fits their aim to pursue what they believe are high quality opportunities where they can potentially generate near term cash flow efficiently, while also prioritising the environment and the local community.

behind a paywall but interesting update

Thanks - had a little dabble...
The Company has concluded consultation with landowners and the Kalmar County Board and has been permitted to execute its work plan for drilling at the Olserum Rare Earth Project, which the Company expects to commence in H2 2024. The Company now has a valid work plan for an initial drilling program of up to 9,000m across 42 drill holes, with flexibility to alter the program within the approved working areas.
"We welcome the approval for our drilling programme at our principal asset, the Olserum Rare Earth Project, which is a key step on the project development timeline. Olserum was designated a project of National Interest by the Swedish Geological
Survey and has the potential to become a significant European Rare Earth Element (REE) resource. In addition to the Djupedal prospect nearby, our activities in the area will create jobs in the community and investment in the region, as well as potentially providing Europe's industry with indigenous critical rare earth elements."

All sorted with the Halifax.
@ ho55 - thanks for trying....
I'm tucking it away and will probably add to my holding every few months.... I have a feeling this will do well over the next couple of years.
I messaged Jack Kelly and he has been trying to get their brokers to speak to Halifax. Bit of a joke really, as I mentioned people are wanting to use their Isa's etc, I'm sure they are missing out on quite a few investors.
Nothing on the Halifax platform... :-(
HL shenanigans cost me a few percent. But I have made money with CF before so as this also hits my belief that not only is green thinking important it can also be lucrative. Not quite sure whether to stick it away for a year before looking or follow it daily. Probably keep an eye on it for a bit, then get bored and check in every now and again
Yeah nice volume and price action
Just got in here. like the plans for future acquisition. Buy distressed Company's. Turn them round & make good. Sell them on for cash & Royalties etc. Plus EGT owned Swedish & German rear earth assets.
Encouraging start , buyer interest definitely there
12p hit, looking good.
Just as if not more important, consolidate and move up slow
Nice finish for the first day.
Looking forward to the presentation later.
LSE are showing my buy as a sell, oh well never mind.
EGT have come back to me and said both IG & HL are now live and Halifax should be available to deal tomorrow.
