HL shenanigans cost me a few percent. But I have made money with CF before so as this also hits my belief that not only is green thinking important it can also be lucrative. Not quite sure whether to stick it away for a year before looking or follow it daily. Probably keep an eye on it for a bit, then get bored and check in every now and again
That would be a nice start to the week, but can't add anything on the news front
Yes delighted but unexpected. Thought today was going to be red waiting for news. No news but must be bubbling under
I thought they looked very respectable. As expected though, we've gone down on the back of them.
Happy to wait this year for arbitration results. Then we'll see
I'm tempted to volunteer and book myself in for a week when they open, and see if I can get any shareholder perks!!
Indeed - there has been a lot of jiggery pokery recently but this feels positive. No doubt will be red by end of day
The strategy of doing deals is not market shaking, the fact we have a specific deal in play is usually more sensitive
Steffffi - that is a great question. Personally I've been in and out a few times and am about level at current SP (so value trap).
I think I would take a 50% bump and move on. I don't think the long term is huge and the world is just getting worse (disproportionately so in the ME) but I thought the value was there
Thanks to all those posting this link - https://greatlandgold.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Greatland-Bell-Potter-Unearthed-14-Feb-24.pdf a great presentation.
I am now late for work as I was so absorbed

One is HVO - the other who knows.
If MF is on our case what could go wrong
Why stop at treble!! I'm holding out for a zero
Interesting point about buying pressure from index or niche funds - its a two way street for sure, but certainly feels they are heading in our preferred direction. Met my portfolio CAGR target already at the end of week 1 - anything more is a bonus.
Do we think this will be bought out this year - I feel that won't be priority one for the board , but if a big fish makes an offer we can't refuse then not the end of the world. Definitely more long term potential if not taken over
Something in the air for sure
I've been out for a while, but am now back in at just over 70p as I got bored with watching a legacy chunk of LLOY going round and round. Seems promising but GENL will always find a way to postpone the upside, but I am sure it is there somewhere.
I can live with 10% per day for the rest of the week. Whether CF is in or out
So 30% up in 9 months - so that will be starting from October after the Truss and Kwateng cluster'''' budget . I know you are a brexiteer but is there no limit to your instinctive deception
I know we are all pawns in the game of life - but any day one of my AIM stocks does 10% is to noted and celebrated
I know this is a piece of string question - but what are people's expectations for this up to and including takeover. 20p, 50p, £1. I am LTH in HVO and POLB significant but not life changing amounts until/unless we get to £1. Not sure how excited to get following the RNS
Not trying to pump or dump - just interested in views
Yes, still not back at my average buy price on HVO, but an excellent start to the year. Total portfolio up 10% largely of the back of POLB and HVO. LTH and not going anywhere for a while yet
Always good to start the week on a nice rise. Did I miss some news, not quite sure an exhibition at the science museum is the cause
