Interesting point about buying pressure from index or niche funds - its a two way street for sure, but certainly feels they are heading in our preferred direction. Met my portfolio CAGR target already at the end of week 1 - anything more is a bonus.

Do we think this will be bought out this year - I feel that won't be priority one for the board , but if a big fish makes an offer we can't refuse then not the end of the world. Definitely more long term potential if not taken over

I've been out for a while, but am now back in at just over 70p as I got bored with watching a legacy chunk of LLOY going round and round. Seems promising but GENL will always find a way to postpone the upside, but I am sure it is there somewhere.

Yes, still not back at my average buy price on HVO, but an excellent start to the year. Total portfolio up 10% largely of the back of POLB and HVO. LTH and not going anywhere for a while yet

Nice start to the year. Not quite back in the black yet but every little helps. Surprisingly quiet on here today thought a nice bump at the end of the day might have attracted some thinking.

EBITDA profitable means what? Not actually fully profitable otherwise it would just be profitable. If it means Earnings before costs can keep us afloat that's a but poor really

I'm cash flow (salary) very positive if I don't count mortgage interest, PAYE, replacing stuff and capital repayments.

Bought in at 32p a few months ago, just doubled stake (not huge, not small) and IMHO I now have a more clearly defined investment with a clearer forward path plus 1/2.98 shares in a new company as a freebie. So underwater a little, but definitely coming up for air.

I assume the city has gone on half term holiday already, and am expecting a day of gentle sideways movement. Then next week will be quiet, but happy to sit and wait until we get some more news / dividends

not me with 100K!. BUT, although as the year passes, I am reconsidering if G will ever head to the highlands of £3 again (or even £2.50). and if not I may go back to a significantly reduced holding. My thinking is value stocks (by which I mean banks and particularly LLOY) can give me 50% over next 12 months so if G has no likelihood of doing better I might just swap around again. I'm not agile/skilled enough to trade so this would be a 6 month rebalance.

210 would be nice - I suppose I should consider trimming at that point, but I suspect we need to get to post pandemic world to really see if there is shortage of oil - but even then I can't see much above $80-90 as shale will kick in. And at 3x that's still only £2.50 or thereabouts.

Does anyone see a pathway to £3 or above and over what timescale. My other punt is Lloyds and I can currently see that 60-70p is reasonable over 2 months which is the same sort of gain so I think I might wait to see which one gets there first and then toggle.

New money might go somewhere more adventurous as I'm allocating 80% to global trackers and 20% to shares

Took advantage of the slight pull back to top up a little with some new LTH money - I think with dividend pending, and economies beginning to warm up and the KRG paying up, it is time to top back up. does raise my average buying price to 130 from 122, but I'm comfortable with that, and despite the decline in the older fields the new ones are likely to replace and grow so will see how we go through results and dividends
