I note the insurer’s have given up early gains as well. It’s a crap market. Hence why I am just focusing on well covered yield bar a couple of what I see as very compelling exceptions.

With yield, at least theoretically, if a divi is being paid regularly it should form some floor and you get some money back.

But I note even DEC is on its knees and you can get 13% yield there. They have paid and increased the divi yoy and have income to cover it. Similar is SEPL they have loads of cash and just increased the divi by 20%.

It really is a difficult market and the summer is usually grim.

Hence the plan to get some cash out, switch off and trust that things will pick up again later.

SAR has approval for phase 1 trial in Oz for its checkpoint inhibitor. I must be the only one that lost money there back in the day. I see it’s mcap is now a whopping 88m! I think it was like 8m when I invested! Doh!

Still DEST is holding up. That’s one of my exceptions to the rules and I intend to hold. There’s hardly ever a post there. Unbelievable really given that 4 different brokers say well over 200p a share and they don’t need cash!

I don’t hold either as pretty much done trading microcaps now and bagging income but I would buy both as a momentum trade and then sell.

If I was about I may have sold to buy back cheaper having done so many times before but CBA’d now. They will come back up again eventually.

Market fear is after this rate rise a revisit of liquidity issues. I am surprised Fed and ECB both raised.

The impact on banking balance sheets before the rise was akin to a 1% rate hike! The banks won’t be loaning cash before and defo won’t be now!

They haven’t got the regulators lined up to cope with several going under and yet they still pushed the button.

Could be heading for a massive print to inject cash into mid tier banks and take their debt. Then the fed will own stuff they don’t want and be forced to sell junk as soon as there’s a market..

Consequently gold has much much higher to go. Even if nothing happens folk just gotta think it might. That’s good enough.

That is methodology is correct insofar as if they cancel the purchased shares and it takes TB over 30%, but there are exceptions if a declaration of not to takeover is made.

The shares can also reside in treasury until TB reduces any holdings.

I am not sure that the family business constitutes a concert party. I think it’s separate to TB which was the reason for the last transfers.

It does look like a cancel stock issue stock scenario to clear some CLN’s as there isn’t 15% of stock floating. Sometimes you can’t buy 100k shares!

But like I say that still takes cash. However they play it takes cash.

I think we will have an RNS to say something has been sold and there is enough money to cancel stock. Remember TB did a huge special divi for BRH holders. We can but hope that that is around the corner here.

Anything AI is all the rage atm and the IB algorithm is of very good value irrespective of what the crappy market thinks. It’s years of R&D and it now has an integrateable framework that has the potential for use with other cancers.

They could sell IB and get a partner for the Phase 2 with cash to let someone else do the heavy lifting.

I hold DEST who have followed that model and will eventually ‘live’ off milestone payments and royalties for their CDI product whilst they move other projects along a similar route.

IQAI have that sort of potential.

They are asking to buy back 15% at no more than 105% of the vwap 5 days prior to the announcement. The min price being 1p.

So let’s say sp is 1p they announce buyback. They then need 75% vote in favour by CLN holders.

If agreed…..

They will pay up to 2.05p per share for 27m ish shares.

If sp is 2p they pay 4.1p ish etc.

They then have up to next agm to complete unless extended.

So imo they are expecting some cash from somewhere.

Now there is no way that float is on market so imo this is likely an out for a big holder or to cancel some CLN’s.

But where is the money is coming from I guess we will soon find out!

I reckon they may sell some assets and cancel some CLN’s.

Article 5 to have authority to issue stock is a usual agm renewal for most businesses.

So sad to see. Never been given a chance by UK plc.

Seems unbelievable that this was my first ten bagger. I remember piling in when Miton was selling at around 11p all those years ago.

If our govt had a sovereign wealth fund they could have taken a position in this company and funded it for national benefit. Developed and integrated the tech. Really made a difference in lots of industries.

Unfortunately UK plc is short sighted. party politics, point scoring and sleaze is the order of the day rather than nurturing long term innovation. VRS could have transformed and ‘future proofed’ lots of our industry.

It’s not just technology it’s biotech, fintech you name it. Now not only do we fail to invest but we tax extortionately as well pushing what little we do have away.

And before anyone says it’s red or blue it’s one as bad as the other! We have a real sickness of short termism that needs a culture shift!

The govt should have a sovereign wealth fund owned by the people so they get dividend income from equity and have a stakes in British tech and utilities. Qatar a no norway do it. Copy and improve!

I would still have held obviously had things been different.
