Saying ‘ pleased to confirm that it is in continuing communication with the Sarawak Government’…. Has made the market think, ‘oh sht’ you mean otherwise you may not have been continuing communications!

So the result so far is they are still communicating not necessarily resolving, agreeing or setting dates. Looks like a softener of an RNS before the AGM as opposed to a more bullish statement like ‘imminent’, ‘concluding’ etc.

So Mr Market has sniffed out doubts.

Bo needs to calm nerves if there is indeed any ambiguity.

Very much doubt it. BR are also traders. From other companies I have followed they alter their position regularly working the margins with physical and CFD. E.g just look back through CMCL.

sp at 170p fine you need this governance and investors see the capital appreciation so we don’t complain but this is a travesty and on pb’s watch!

forgets who owns the company and is full of excuses these last couple years.

imo he’s been distracted by his other ventures not been on point, not been local networking, managing at a distance and thinks he is just responsible for raising cash at any cost!

pb is financially ok at any sp! coz he can print whatever he wants!

Been in BARC today. I don’t bank there left years ago due to poor service!. Absolutely useless and hell bent on hanging on to folks cash. That explains why they seem to be the slowest divi payer! BB’s always full of ‘I am with BARC and not had mine yet!’

Some folk just don’t appreciate how wired the world is and how fragile that wiring is. Just a few cables linking more than half of the world’s data traffic. Most using similar software. Teenager hackable firewalls! Flip I am sounding like Jake….

But it’s why I have a larder full of tins, some gas bottles, water purification tablets and a little cash. Just in case!

Agree 16 directors is top heavy for a 75m mcap company. 8 NED’s! I thought they were sliming them down not adding more costs! Companies this size run on less that half that bod size and many get paid on SP performance not wet fingers!

I have been long term bullish on TXP. Been here since pennies but haven’t posted much lately having lost confidence in PB now.

I added a few yesterday as it’s cheap and to trade but I no longer see this as the longer term growth story it started out as.

POO 3 years out is anybodies guess now esp with so many narratives aligning with peak oil. Thankfully they are exploring and selling gas which has a much longer future.

The point is the time it takes them to do anything just beggars belief and the Trin deal just adds more complexity and more slowness imo.

A once happy investor but not selling yet at this ridiculous give away price!

Also I mentioned VOY.PL here before. I haven’t bought as have been waiting for placing and possible new listing on LSE. Anyways placing is due tomorrow….

But don’t get too excited the two directors ‘only’ put in 25k each. Also I think they are probably FoS having gone from agronomy a couple of weeks ago to now experts in geology! But all said the placing may give some liquidity and the asset looks interesting although it’s not making any money yet.

If I buy on AQSE it will ‘only’ be a small amount as liquidity is sht and it will either multibag or bust or both in the same day and you won’t be able to sell! lol!

But I think let’s see how it opens and if the spread comes in I may have a dabble just for fun!

Ps sliced DEC from my trading account at 1300p for +20%. Still keeping the core position for income as it’s +40% up now!

I saw the street dive briefly and thought I’d kick myself saying a pullback at 1300 and then not bagging some profit!

I added some TXP and UPL with my winnings as news due on both soon and also bought some more boring old PHNX to round up my holdings there all in the trading account.

If one or other of TXP/UPL come in I may add some more income or have another high risk punt as there are quite a few opportunities atm.

Gotta work those margins!

Decided to sell the ones in my second account for +20% profit. So basically I have bagged 3 years income in advance which may be timely with £/$ atm. Got just over 1300p. Not selling the core position though!

I can now add back in on any pullback or grab some yield elsewhere. My hope though is obviously that the rise continues!

Yes I think you are probably right. It’s the reason I have been reluctant to add more. I see Dec as an income play that was oversold. Now I can get higher income elsewhere.

I think this could go higher but from memory I think Rusty said 2 years at this yield. That’s not to say he couldn’t increase it but the woeful share bb volumes indicate that’s unlikely.

Well I expected some profit taking at 1300 this week. Nice to be wrong so far! Although the temptation would be to add on any pullback but it’s now only yielding around 6%. So I have to weigh that up with other income plays. Still nice to now be over 40% on and income play and even my latest buys in another account are 20% up! Incredible run!

And more to come imo. Get to that £15 and no reason why we shouldn’t recover through to £20. I keep saying it’s the volumes that are key rather than just price. But the market often seems fixated on price.

The EiA are bullish on volumes especially in 25. And that is just a continuation of trend. The maintenance out the way at Freeport etc and more pipelines coming on to Mexico and the warm us summers are some factors that underline predictions.

All bodes well for Dec even if it’s a demand shuffle. We have gas at mostly fixed prices we can flex volumes with smarter asset management and get higher prices with unhedged production when they come. And imo they will!

Hi Terry,

Shorts don’t need to close. They can go on ‘forever’ as loan as the source doesn’t contract them back. They just gotta cover divi and interest on the short (loan fees).

On trading 212 (I don’t use) but you can tick a box to earn from your stocks by loaning out. So if you hold say NVIDIA you can get a little income from them.

What I don’t know the answer to and I asked GG is if DEC delist from LSE. Do they then have to close the shorts here and re-open them on nyse or do they just shift across. Now that would be interesting!

Like many I think we will move to nyse. I note today in the DT that investors have asked Ocado to relist to NYSE. So that would be an institutional call. Our last share issuance is also exclusively nyse.

The tea leaves say nyse.

I don’t mind holding on nyse as long as I can sell easily and imo DEC have been pretty liquid even when just on London. But nyse is showing the benefits of exposing us to a bigger market and long may this rerate continue!

Indeed it does assume a pullback and indeed a bounce and pullback again to repeat. But that’s the risk.

The shorts kind of made sense when they opened them. What doesn’t make sense is not bailing when the momentum changed.

My post was to explain a possibility of why shorts had still increased.

Dec is also only 10% PI owned. The rest is in institutional or equivalent hands. O&G is a volatile space so I would expect some shorts to cover longs but even those now, like you say look stupid. Indeed so do Adage’s, why on Earth didn’t they cash out when the sp bounced from 8’s to 9’s. They could the of average in a new position again.

Hopefully we see one give up and that should put more pressure on the others. But remember these guys play one position off against another to manage the whole bottom line.

Yes they do borrow stock and they have to pay to do so. So that’s on top of the divi!
