For me, the words "actual, tangible benefits" are key.

To be blunt Sharpey, I was starting to get a bit twitchy myself, even to the point of thinking of selling. But then I re-ran my research and came to the conclusion, rightly or wrongly, that this is a solid medium to long term investment, that ALRT is unlikely to go pop (no guarantees in this world though) and that the short term noise around the SP will abate. If there is no announcement in December, well yes, the SP will likely take a good kicking but if the basics remain sound, I would see that as a buying opportunity.

I view MMs like I do bookmakers.

Both make and control (a polite word for "manipulate") the market. And they do that for one reason and one reason only, to make money for themselves.

ALRT's SP will only behave sensibly once the business becomes revenue and profit generating. Until then, the MMs will play the SP like a busker's fiddle.

Impressive salary pal, if its true. I guess that you are saying that you were earning £120,000/annum in 2000.

Only 0.6 to 0.8% of taxpayers earned £120,000/annum in 2000 according to HMRC statistics.

There were circa 29-30 million taxpayers in 2000, again according to HMRC statistics. And so you were one of only 205,000 people earning that much.
