EC, I once thought you were a decent influence here. I've changed my mind. You're only looking out for number one. AST will try it's best to access the known gas reservoir. Some on this forum would give up if they were two feet from a pot of gold.

Can't see any evidence of a placing, let alone at 0.35p.
The last placing was 21 January and not 'a couple of weeks ago'.
It was at 0.3p and not 0.2p.

I too have doubts about Colin's direction of travel but don't invent stuff just to suit your agenda. That's exactly what you're accusing him of.

There may be a placing knowing, or maybe not knowing, Colin. A placing every 3 months would clearly not be good at all. He's said it wouldn't happen unless the SP was somewhat higher. But he's said a lot of things. He has a touch of the Theresa May's.

The IPPC had been issued previously to AST, or more accurately their JV partner Geonergo. The stimulation permits are a somewhat newer consideration. ARSO have to get around the 'fracking' issue as it may be low volume and pressure but they need to have the full evidence to ensure the activists can be circumvented. They wouldn't anyone to come back at them later.

The conference over the past two days was specifically about low carbon energy. And gas is quite good for that as a fossil fuel. Non fossil fuels are either unreliable in their capability (solar needs the sun and windmills need the wind) or dangerous with nuclear power waste. So we still need fossil fuel energy, just reduced by backing up with other types.

I sent an email to Colin this morning asking about the Energy Day conference. Have yet to receive a reply. As it was RNSed to us I rather felt he should tell us how it went and what came out of it. We hope he has his reasons for the radio silence but many don't trust him with our money.

It's a toss up whether the main client returning to Cobre or Leigh Creek production get's there first. Good race to watch as an investor at these SP levels.

Client issue? There are other clients for Cobre. And the major earner at Leigh Creek is now starting up.

AIM market is strange when investors concentrate on one tiny issue when another major earner is just coming on stream. Very odd.

Oil and Gas exploration is expensive reso anywhere in the World. Nature of the beast. However we need the stuff to run our power stations for your computer and mobile phone. Cost is relative.

Red flag for what? Last year's accounts are only important in how much is available in the accounts now. Last year was a year of delays, nothing happening with ARSO and except unkept promises. We're in a completely different regime now with the IPPC issued, a new expert COO plus a new financial expert. Things have moved on at a pace. Your obsession with last year's results is becoming tedious.

I was rather hoping for an RNS from the CEO telling us how the Slovenian Energy Days(s) conference went as he was presenting at it and, presumably, meeting up with interested parties. Maybe later in an interview or RNS? Such information is rather crucial to the financial well being of the company as the MCap is rather important and improving the SP should therefore be important.

Reference the thread title I would hope Colin and others in the BoD will report back by interview or / and RNS after the Slovenian Energy Day today.

He trades Jedi. A transient holder. He mostly speaks badly of the BoD to get a better price. To be fair it can be an easy target with an accountant in charge of a gas company. We now have an O&G expert as COO.

Donald Tusk was influential in exploration? He should explore the UK's position a little bit better. :-)
