Read the RNS HH.

The formal spread is quite wide at 1.55 to 1.70. That tends to dampen trading. Not sure why as trading is pretty damped anyway. I can only see one buy trade so far today.

Some large buys coming through at this SP level. Looks like the IIs are starting to buy in. Anyone here likely to tag along?

Gerry, you keep baiting me in your posts. I've dealt with a lot of lengthy reports in my time. You learn to understand their relevancy to the current position. AST's reports from last year would only be relevant to the current position as we are in a completely different political environment now. AST is a different animal compared to last year. No need to refer to me any longer.

That would be me. While all others go into melt down. AST has not had IIs before, except Hendersons maybe. It should be good news and has been ignored by most, especially the de-rampers who come out in force with any bad news.

I think you'll find I've already posted twice this morning. I believe Colin is a 'nice chap'. Not sure about his business acumen though. We are all kept in the dark as the activists will use all ammunition he may provide. Hence the RNS informing us after an event. Are you an activist by the way? You seem very anti AST if you are a genuine investor.

I take some comfort from the RNS: "The gross proceeds of the Placing amounting to £750,000 will be used to complete the reprocessing of the Company's 3D seismic data on Petišovci, place an order for compression equipment, evaluate other regional opportunities and provide additional working capital."

Shame Colin had already resumed his full salary when the company needed funds.

Predictable Nickel. This has to be one of the most stable and progressive companies anywhere, and not just on AIM. Go somewhere else where you may be more correct.

I was wondering how long this could go on. The SP is also stagnating. There really should be some anticipation excitement for SML. There just isn't. Strange.

More bumf from Gerry I see. All very nice but ignores energy security for Slovenia and transportation costs over long distances. Not good for the environment.

FF, Two answers to your earlier points:

1. Energy security for Slovenia.
2. Long transportation cost and infrastructure for importing from Russia.

Oh, I've just said that. Seems a good answer can apply to everyone.

The rest of your argument is purely the environmental point of view against AST. Or to put it bluntly a foreign company in Slovenia. No problem with Petisovci gas from the 1950's up till November 2004, when AST got involved?

Okay to accept gas from Russia with all of the politics that goes with that? Your World view finds it okay to damage Russia by accepting gas, transported over long distances, from them?

Clean energy extracted locally in Petisovci by modern methods which keep the environment safe is by far the better way. Slovenia has a small population not needing a lot of gas. Use renewable wind and solar energy, with the small amount of Petisovci gas to keep the transportation of gas from Russia over long distances to a minimum.

Lejjb, I read it as well. The article existed.

This gentleman has been specifically disallowed to appeal as per the court decision of November 2017 as being 'vexatious'. So he applies pressure by a newspaper article which is accepted by DELO despite this person having been disallowed from appealing by the court. The bias of the local Slovene media is clear to see.

As lejjb has said it is full of poor arguments. If that is the best that these activists can do then the court should throw out any appeal as time wasting and irrelevancies that have already been dealt with in three previous appeals from April 2016 through to November 2017.

Some here don't like approximations. I think ball park figures are very useful when being exact is pointless. You can calculate a result to ten decimal places but if the data is only to two decimal places then a ten decimal place result calculation is pointless.

However those not liking approximations are only being pedantic to emphasise their poor opinion of AST to knock the company back in the eyes of prospective investors.

You were only right in your mind Gerry. I stopped answering your abusive posts and therefore you assume you were right. You also assume I removed your posts. I think you'll find they were abusive and therefore removed by admin. I only answer you now as others may think you are right and will avoid investing in AST because of your posts. Many don't bother to answer you. Why not have a tantrum at all of them? Not interested in your answer.
