I suggest you educate yourself properly on the geology. Soft sandstone just needs compression equipment and not stimulation permits needed for higher pressure 'fracking'. That equipment can be installed in a choice of ten wells already in place and the flow rate ramped up with exporting to INA in Croatia until the processing plant is available.

I know these environmental activists are rampant on her and twitter but I do get annoyed with this constant doing down, or even basic ignorance shown on here and twitter.

They have no debt. With known gas in the ground getting money is not difficult. These environmental activists are just so transparent.

That's great news. Reso has tried to preempt this news with a Slovene journalist article stating that stimulation permits are required. Petisovci has soft sandstone which can be stimulated very effectively with compression equipment. JB is the expert and is already sourcing compression equipment to do just that. Ten wells are already in place and all could be looked at to determine whether they are still viable with compression equipment. Stimulation permits are not required for compression equipment.

These newspaper articles have almost entirely been written from the environmental activist perspective. They have a little knowledge from fracking used elsewhere in the World which is not relevant to the geology at Petisovci.

'Peeps learnt you could translate what a Slovene journalist has determined, without any apparent proof, in an article. Journalists constantly assert stuff that aren't true, especially in Slovene newspapers.

I would agree with you H50. However even if we ignore the bashing trolls they will still effect many who may wish to buy in to AST. They are from a disparate group who may be environmental activists or disgruntled AST holders sitting on large losses. Although damaging the company they are losing money in is not a good idea their anger spills over into abusive comments. Twitter is even worse as abusive language is often used along with other forms of abuse. Many reasonable investors may well prefer to steer clear of a company which attracts that kind of abuse, no matter how unreasonable. The environmental activists know this and step up their abuse.

Assuming it was a fake I really hope the perpetrator is prosecuted. That sort of fraud can lose a lot of people a lot of money. And if they can do it once they'll do it again with other shares. The stock market will become a haven for fraud and not just manipulation we often see it accused of.

The London Stock Exchange needs to clamp down. CAD as well needs to deal with it as it would be fraud in their name. AST has an interest as it was also in their name but only as the named recipient which never actually received it.

Are you new here? This has been happening for months. Years. Confidence has been at a low. The reason? Constant harassment from environmental activists here, on twitter and all forms of media.

They don't want their pretty countryside damaged, but they'll travel the world in their 4x4's, trains, etc. and still use their computers and mobile phones. They still want to use energy. It can't all come from the wind or solar power. Gas is a good, low damaging form of energy available on their doorstep and not requiring transportation around the world.

These people are short sighted and are a classic case of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing.

As lejjb says if this is a fake, and it's still just 08:00 on 12th April, the fakers could have a whole load of trouble coming down on them. Faking and publishing that RNS is serious stuff.

Can't understand these posters who think AST is a poor bet, unless they are part of the environmental activist team trying to harm them. A known gas reservoir under Petisovci (not just an explorer company), ten wells already in place and just needing reopening. Any where else this would be piled into as a dead cert. In Slovenia there are problems. Politics and environmental activist interfere. Of course CAD would be wary. Get the politics sorted and they just need a small amount of money to buy AST and a little extra to reopen the wells.

This de-ramping is not just suspicious, it's downright obvious.
