Bradis, the SP would indicate that. However the lack of any movement on the politics doesn't allow me to consider buying in. It just doesn't allow me to sell either with the SP where it is. Currently we have stalemate. If I see some movement on the political front I might consider it. Not until then.

I can well understand the frustration. I have been hanging on here (much to reso's amusement) as I have seen too many cases of people pulling out of a share only to see it rise sharply thereafter. AST has a known gas reserve in the ground and ten wells already drilled. Get the politics sorted and we'll be away again. This should have an MCap at several multiples of the current MCap. The only reason why it's down where it is has nothing to do with technical issues or even not being sure of access to gas, it's entirely down to politics. I have seen another share getting delisted (COP) but fortunately saw the light and got out. AST is not in that position as it has no debt and some small income.

Looking at things purely objectively the 'preferred bidder' has to look very carefully at all the data as the recent history of 88E has been two poor drills at Icewine 2 and Winx. They have no recent success of 88E to go on, only the facts and figures in the data room. And, considering the recent poor drill results, they need to look very carefully as 88E hasn't been successful recently and therefore the facts may be inaccurate. It's a possibility as they have to assume 88E hadn't used the best data for their last two drills. At least it means a bigger company would have to be very sceptical.

Lie? Not really. RNS of 5th April 2018 explains what happened. It was delayed and should have been said earlier but lie is a term you, and a few others, have used pejoratively and incorrectly, as the RNS states what happened.

There's some truth in what you say duster but it's difficult to extract from the abuse. It would be clearer without the abuse thanks.

Putting all of the responsibility for the SP on to the CEO is indeed a very simple viewpoint. When that CEO has no control over government policy and it's that government policy that is causing the situation then it's not so simple. His pronouncements were based on the Slovene government wanting their own gas for energy security. Apparently they don't want that. They want to remain in hock to gas imports and the resulting lack of energy security that brings.

Reso will tell you the gas imports are financially cheaper. However they are politically expensive. But the politicians are short term thinkers, like our own. They are only looking for the duration of their political lifespan and their current wealth. They're not interested in the country's future beyond their own future.

The SP is very disappointing considering we are building to Leigh Creek startup and already have income to cover all costs with the reduced income from Cobre. Waiting for the main client to return with their increased take up for their new processing plant is frustrating. It's now a year since they stopped. Redmoor is also getting ever closer with excellent assay results.

The lack in recent news updates is causing a few to lose confidence in the company. Such as Toze who expresses concern at the funding of Redmoor when the BoD have already explained how it will happen. It shouldn't need toiler to reexplain but unfortunately without current news input some sell and slip away.

Thanks for that ValJu. It would seem we could have news anytime or no time. Although I do believe Colin is making some headway slowly an we'll either have permits at some point or compression equipment to ensure a better gas flow or both.

Love to fly a kite reso. Your post certainly shows petulance. I use this forum to look for all possible outcomes with AST. You clearly use it just to attack the BoD and AST in general. The SP is really low now. I presume you are buying up loads? As you are a trader. If you are not a significant owner at this price then bye bye.

Quite frankly AST need to have a number of significant exhibitions in Slovenia to show the Slovene people they are genuinely concerned and involved with the Slovene people and wish to provide energy security in an environmentally considered way for them.

I am not able to go. However I don't know how much you may learn that we don't already know. Anything new would have to be in an RNS before the market opened on Monday.

Anyone going would undoubtedly get reassurances. But we need more than that now. We need confirmation of compression equipment being installed and the politics being sorted.

I think any BoD member there will have a mixture of a lonely time and some argumentative types having a go at them, having experienced considerable losses. I doubt they will enjoy the experience.

Slovenia imports all of it's gas. Only partly from Russia but the rest from Austria, Algeria and Italy. The small amount coming out of Petisovci, courtesy of AST, is entirely exported to INA in Croatia. Strange but true.

Thanks Mr_Jay. The company has gone very quiet since then and I wasn't at the meeting. We can only hope JB is progressing well with compression equipment. This way forward seemed logical to me but I am not privy to the facts available to the BoD.

What we really need is an RNS stating that JB is acquiring compression equipment specifically for PG10 at least and PG11a as well, if the stuck tool doesn't prevent it's efficient use. That will show investors that the company is able to use compression equipment without extra permits and is moving the project along as best as it can despite the Slovene government's lack of cooperation. The resulting increase in the SP could allow a future placing at a sensible price to allow investment in a project in Croatia.

Reso, Your lack of help on this forum, despite your apparent knowledge of Slovenia, and your shear arrogance has always led me to discount your views as being only against AST and therefore of no assistance to the forum. If you are able to provide information that could assist those on this forum in their ability to see how AST can go forward your views would be better respected. That is for your information only and as a warning to others who may think you are trying to save them from investing in a basket case company. A company that has a known gas reserve in the ground and ten existing wells that need stimulation and yet is prevented from being successful by the obduracy of the Slovene government. Your constant support of the Slovene government's position and damning of the AST BoD is clearly biased and puts you in the position of being on the side of the activists against AST.

TPT I believe. JB also talked about it at the presentation according to lejjb. So I hope JB has been moving this forward. Maybe those that go to the Investor Show can ask?
