Seems rather naive contacting CLON. They would be unable to give you any info other than what is in the public domain. Any update on that would have to come by RNS.

Have to say that it is disappointing that there's a delay (spinning it to suggest that it's 30 working days is nonsense). Whilst AIM companies don't usually do a lot on time, we're only talking about some due diligence being done. Can't imagine that CLON would be dragging their feet on something so transformational so I can only conclude that it is NCX. I really hope that they don't have an issue with what CLON are brining to the table.

I do wonder if NCX has had the brakes put on because of the SVB/banking crisis. Anyone got any info on this?

sp would get a boost if we saw some director buys now... NH hinted at this a few days ago.

Glad that Mr008 has stopped posting and re-posting his nonsense... the possibility that the authorities might follow up with him has given him a bit of a reality check. Of course, if what he was posting was true, I assume that he would just carry on. Hopefully, we'll hear some action against Blue Orca soon.

My therapist told me to be patient and I'm really trying but GR is still taking the mick. He had exceeded my expectations a few weeks ago with the progress that had been made BUT it's now clear that there are hold-ups. The delay to HC is now getting worrying. As any proj mgr will know, a delay of a day can quickly turn in to a week, a month, etc.
If it's any consolation, I'm quite sure that GR is spinning everyone along including his favoured shareholders - a leopard doesn't change his spots - he just can't admit to a delay.

I'm thinking that we'll get a big splash next Friday, St Patrick's Day... I'm fully expecting the JV to go ahead but the really interesting question will be whether any progress has been made with the Bol authorities in getting licences.

Over on advfn, there's a guy claiming to represent a group of 9 scientists who have investigated the process and have stated that 'Scale up is infinitely possible and leaves only the question of licences to extract'. They even employed a specialist patent agent to investigate too. They also reckon that the environmentally-friendly procedure should aid the securing of the licences. I would add that the fact that the Bol authorities had approached CLON last year about applying for licences is further proof that this could take off very quickly.

On reading the RNS carefully, it does appear that both discussions and plans were already fairly advanced so I reckon we should hear news before the 30 days are up. Take your positions, we're in for a very interesting few weeks!

Not a helpful development at this point. Looks like there is some disagreement... a very curt and cold statement from AP. There are some questions that need to be answered.

Snake37 - personally, I'd be very disappointed if it only got to 1p.
The main current asset, BP mine, is about to move in to profit and there is a drilling prog to expand the mine.
There's the bag of diamonds to be returned and sold - estimates of anything between £8m and £20m - sp hasn't factored that in yet.
The big win related to the diamonds is that VAST should be signing a JV very soon for re-starting mining in Zim.
Add in income from Taj with hints of other projects there.
Debt should not then be an issue.
The risks are that VAST has had a very troubled past and doubtful delivery success... it seems though that they're getting their act together.
AIMHO but I'm expecting this to multi-bag this year.

Despite the news about the suspension of one individual (apparently, it comes with the job), Zimbabwe is an ever-improving place to do business as is evidenced by the court decision on the diamonds.
The diamonds are a major bonus but the bigger prize is in re-starting mining in Zim - the President has got big ambitions for the mining sector and, no doubt, VAST can be part of the mix. Whilst I'm keen to hear about the delivery of the diamonds, I'm keener to hear about the JV and re-starting mining... that is the news that will accelerate the sp. I accept the point someone else made about every AIM company thinks that they're undervalued but things are shaping up very nicely here. If you look at some other companies who have operations in Zim, you'll see that multi-bagging opportunities do become reality. The risks of having issues in Zim are much lessened compared to even 4 or 5 years ago. VAST is a compelling buy and hold for me on the strength of Zim alone... add BP to the mix and it is even more compelling -AIMHO.
