Last Q production figures was 4th January... that's the report that's due. Previous Q production reports have landed 3 weeks or so after the Q end.

AP might get this one out sooner than 3 weeks but I reckon that he's got a wee bit more on his plate this time round.

Early days but things should move quickly. There's a lot of confidence that the process should work at scale. Others are working on similar processes but it appears that CLON, somehow, have managed to put themselves in poll position in Bolivia which has one of the biggest, untapped Li deposits in the world.

jamesjohn - I think that we could be looking at another 2 weeks before we get the Q1 figures. Most updates have come around 3 weeks from the quarter end except for Q4 in January. AP was particularly bullish in that last interview so I'm pretty relaxed that the figures will be at least what the market expects, if not better. If he gets them out earlier then that would be good news indeed.
On the diamonds, I'm just as relaxed about the packet sitting in the bank... the bigger news will be VAST re-starting in Zim and, given that AP is already engaged with the Zim government, I'm hopeful that we'll get an update about this very soon. I've no doubt that the sp will begin to move before we get official news so hold on tight!

Hector - AP put in another £82500 as recently as February. I think his and our interests are aligned.

Interesting response and I guess it confirms that CLON are engaged with the BOL gov't about the potential. I reckon they've already got a date in the diary for YLB to see the pilot in Texas. If all goes well (and all the signs are good), the JV should be able to move quickly to set up in Bolivia.
I agree that CLON could be providing more info - the website has scant info which I guess is well out of date now. I was surprised by finding out about CLON's interest in GUARANI SUSTAINABLE ENERGY PLC (maybe, I've missed something glaring in the past about it) and I'm left wondering what other Bolivian assets CLON has an interest in.
I agree wholeheartedly though that CLON has the most potential in my portfolio too!

That's helpful. I doubt it will be this week for production but let's hope that days don't turn in to weeks!

I'd much rather that GR made the cash call with existing holders than handed another part of PREM away... I'd also like him to raise funds now for the next stages of both Zulu and the EPO. I appreciate that the cash will start rolling in fairly soon but it would show that GR is organised, has some urgency and thinking/acting like a much bigger company.
I reckon he can easily raise £10-20 million without the sp being adversely impacted. PREM and GR are now in a real position of strength.

Looking forward to recovering some of the ground lost last week plus, hopefully, a bit more.

Over the years, it's clear that CLON & co have established some deep roots in Bolivia and they're beginning to bear some fruit. It's all coming together nicely!

In the whole scheme of things, it matters not whether production starts today, tomorrow or next week BUT it would just be good if it was Q1. Yes, the sp will jump to 1p and above BUT for those of us who have been in Prem for a long time, it would be a great end of the week and quarter if GR got that production feather in his cap in Q1.
Regardless, should see a run up to close to 1p today - folks taking positions for the inevitable start of production.

Well, what an odd RNS... glass half-empty/half-full situation here. Personally, I find the RNS a tad worrying - why do they need government assistance when they've got a court order from a judge? What form does the government assistance take - that could mean the police?? All along, there has been no confirmation that anyone from VAST have set their eyes on the diamonds - this RNS simply raises doubts on whether the diamonds are still there! Would have been better saying nothing at all!! sp will drop this morning

I imagine that there's confirmation of the outstanding permits plus a photo opportunity to see production starting. Can't imagine that he's invited them for a tour before it's all running.

For me, this was a very interesting part of the RNS... it shouldn't surprise us, I guess, but the numbers should be very juicy. Any deal will give us a decent sign of how much Zulu is worth (just Zulu and not the whole of Prem!). Even with this wee delay and possible extra funds being needed, it sounds to me that GR doesn't need another fundraise just yet. Where's that Resource Upgrade???

Very eventful week - CLON was surprisingly disappointing. VAST looks promising.

Yesterday was a minor bump in the road and we should see the sp return to its upward trajectory - I added yesterday, fwiw!

Things get really interesting now... with some interested in a direct equity investment in Zulu, what value would you put on it? I'd suggest a multiple of today's value.

Acker - now that you say it, he has been quite clear about the reasons for the delay and the current position so, yes, a bit of credit to GR but he could have been more open about this some time ago. Timing is everything.

Putting that to one side, we should be seeing some more positive news in the coming days... I hope! For me, it would be especially good to hear more about the approaches that he has had.

Fair comment, Acker... hoped that we were behind GR's nonsense but this should recover quickly.

Well that's a disappointing read despite being almost there on production. GR could have and should have provided some of that info on the status long before now!

Quarterly production update is due next week (possibly Monday) and I suspect that we will get a broader update too. The signals are that production is well up again and the question is really by how much. My guess is that yesterday's trading was to secure positions before Monday and/or that someone has got a whiff of the content of the update. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got wind of progress with the diamonds yesterday.

Apologies Beetroot (and anyone else) - I got that wrong. There's a bit more detail which threw me and, of course, there's no mention of NCX investing £250,000 into Clon which needed to be done by 30 days from the date of the HoA. Does anyone know if they did invest... it would seem a no-brainer?
The previous timescale was May 23 and it's now Q2 23... which seems sensible to give a wee bit more leeway.

The deal seems to have been changed from the one in the HOA... seems to be even more in favour of Chemx (have I interpreted it correctly?) and the timescale seems to have been extended too.

PatShare - yep, could be right but there's still that 'sell on news' crowd on AIM. Interesting times ahead!
